NY Times: Aiding the enemy

Do you like this story?

It’s just unbelievable, absolutely amazing, how we, as a country can turn on ourselves. Here’s just another primary example of the NY Times and their sneaky way of basically undermining the American people and giving aid to the enemy.

Nothing better than for one of the largest journalist organizations to basically give these Islamic fanatics more good ideas on how to kil people.

PATH Tunnels Seen as Fragile in Bomb Attack

An analysis done for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey says that the PATH train tunnels under the Hudson River are more vulnerable to a bomb attack than previously thought, and that a relatively small amount of high explosives could cause significant flooding of the rail system within hours. The analysis, based on work by Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, revises some critical aspects of an assessment of the system’s vulnerability that was presented to the agency last spring. It makes clear that the tunnels — four tubes of varying design and sturdiness that stretch across the Hudson riverbed — are structurally more fragile than first thought. A draft summary of the most recent analysis was given to The New York Times by a government official who was troubled by what the official felt was a lack of action in response to the analysis, which the official said the Port Authority got about three weeks ago. The official said the latest analysis indicates that it would take only six minutes for one of the PATH tubes to flood if a significant but not necessarily very large bomb were detonated.

If a government official is so “worried” about it why would he be so dumb as to report it to MSM, why not to the city, or the state, and just get it FIXED rather than basically say :

Dear Terrorists:

If you’ve been thinking of a good place to murder a lot of people and disrupt everything in NY, and there’s no more World trade center? Just go to the PATH train tunnels under the Hudson River where you could detonate a small amount of high explosives that could cause significant flooding of the rail system within hours.

Hey NY times, you think you could one up it, and reveal a few more strategical positions where a terrorist act could be carried out? Make sure you let the american people know that you are on top of “informing” the american people as you always seem to be so good at.

How bout use your big brains, and money to do something right for us, the American people. DO your patriotic duty and show a little RESTRAINT in what you report on. Gosh I can’t even believe you have to get lectured by a lowly infidel blogger….
