Lovers stoned to death in Pakistani village
30 January 2007MULTAN, Pakistan - Two lovers were tied to trees and stoned to death for adultery by angry relatives in a Pakistani village, police said Tuesday. Police said the couple, in their early 40s, were killed in a barrage of rocks thrown by relatives of the woman in a village in central Punjab province on Sunday. “It was a case of honour killing and we have arrested two brothers of the woman,” local police chief Zafar Bokhari said. Bokhari said the woman’s family was annoyed because of her alleged affair with a man from the same village and planned the murder with the help of other relatives. More than 4,000 people, mostly women, have been killed in deeply conservative rural Pakistan in recent years in the name of protecting family honour when there are allegations of an illicit sexual relationship.
In 2005, President Pervez Musharraf had a law enacted by parliament, which introduced the death penalty for honour killings.

So if this drama hits too close to home, perhaps offended Muslims should use this TV program as an emotional stimulus for change. To this point, the Muslim community has been able to completely avoid any real debate over Islamism. In fact, we see now a movement in England and the West to blame the West’s foreign policy as a root cause of terror rather than the real root cause — theocratic Islamist ideology.
It’s time for hundreds of thousands of Muslims to be not only private but public in their outrage — and to commit themselves to specific, verbal engagement of the militants and their Islamism. We, as American Muslims, should be training and encouraging our Muslim-community youth to become the future Jack Bauers of America. What better way to dispel stereotypes than to create hundreds of new, real images of Muslims who are publicly leading this war on the battlefield and in the domestic and foreign media against the militant Islamists.
Condemnations by press release and vague fatwas are not enough. We need to create organizations — high-profile, well-funded national organizations and think tanks — which are not afraid to identify al Qaeda, Hamas, and Hezbollah by name, and by their mission as the enemies of America.
If Muslim organizations and the American Muslim leadership were seen publicly as creating a national, generational plan to fight Islamism — rather than searching for reasons to claim victimhood — then the issues and complaints surrounding such TV shows would disappear. The way to fight the realities of 24 is to create a Muslim CTU, a deep Muslim counterterrorism ideology and a national action plan for our security.
—M. Zuhdi Jasser is the chairman of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy and a former U.S. Navy Lieutenant Commander
I agree with him that we need to fight terrorism with more of a Muslim involvement, but with him suggesting that CTU be run by Muslims, and that we should develop a Muslim counter-terrorism ideollogy sounds more like he wants to integrate Muslim culture into a free and democratic America.
Do not be fooled. Even the moderate Muslims want to see some form of Islamic Law be implemented in the U.S., and Sharia law is a goal among hundreds of thousands of muslims both American and non-American, both moderate and extreme.

The Koran is the number one selling book in Denmark…surprised?
We are seeing the migration of Islam into Europe as it is happening. We are witnessing Europe become increasingly anti-American. from the ME forum
Europe is undergoing two profound changes. The first is the weakening of Christianity. The second is demographic decline. Presently, across Europe, there are only two-thirds the number of children born necessary to sustain the population. The consequent drop in population has mostly been made good by immigration of Muslims. The fast-growing Muslim population is generally not integrated into the host societies nor politically acculturated to its norms. To the contrary, radical Islamic movements are gaining in strength among these émigré populations. In addition, European governments, especially the French, have developed foreign policies aimed at winning the favor of Middle Eastern regimes.
The question arises: is this a temporary aberration or is Europe on the road to losing its historic identity? The latter: Europe is rapidly being transformed into “Eurabia,” a cultural and political appendage of the Arab/Muslim world that is fundamentally anti-Christian, anti-Semitic, anti-Western and anti-American.

Here’s a video about the troops (via hotair) and what they think of the so-called “supporters of the troops, not the war”. They’re bascially calling out all those who claim they support the troops, yet demoralize them in the media on a daily basis. this just shows that we need to let our boys do the job and finish the job. Stop criticizing them, start supporting what they’re doing regardless of wether or not you think they should even be there.
Stop the ‘Hate Bush’ obsession already and realize that these guys over there are FIGHTING THE ENEMY, whether YOU like it or not., and start showing a little support.
This is what I think is actually going on in these crazy liberal minds:
“I support the troops but……
IHATEBUSH IHATECONDI IHATERUMMY IHATEAMERICA ITSOURFAULT ITSOURFAULT IHATEBUSH IHATECONDI IHATERUMMY IHATEAMERICA ITSOURFAULT ITSOURFAULT IHATEBUSH IHATECONDI IHATERUMMY IHATEAMERICA ITSOURFAULT ITSOURFAULT IHATEBUSH IHATECONDI IHATERUMMY IHATEAMERICA ITSOURFAULT ITSOURFAULT IHATEBUSH IHATECONDI IHATERUMMY IHATEAMERICA ITSOURFAULT ITSOURFAULT”
No wonder liberalism is a psycholigical mental/culture/social disorder….

My question is why are these guys NOT locked up yet? Does the Australian government just let Mulsim extremists hold “conferences” encouraging extreme behaviour that may be a threat to the public? These guys need to be contained before their militias grow bigger and stronger.
Sydney conference speaker demands Islamic state
Sunday, 28 January 2007. 13:14 (AWDT)
A speaker at a conference in Sydney’s south-west says a revolution or a civil war may be necessary in order to create an Islamic state, or caliphate.
The meeting has been organised by the controversial Muslim group Hizb ut-Tahrir, which is banned in several countries overseas.
A number of politicians have called for the group to be banned here.
One of today’s speakers, Ashraf Doureihi, told the audience action needs to be taken to ensure an Islamic state is created.
“It is important… [to move] collectively in the Muslim world to demand this change from such influential people in our lands, even if it means spilling onto the streets to create a revolution or staging a military coup,” he said.
Hizb ut-Tahrir spokesman Wassim Doureihi has told the audience a number of speakers will address the meeting today and discuss ways of establishing an Islamic super-state.
“As we were here today, what is at stake is not just the destiny of the Muslim world but indeed the whole of mankind,” he said.
The conference runs all day.

Interesting article over at GatesofVienna outlining the weakening Western world, and the contributions of the western leftists, and how it has contributed to the decent of the West. This is a long read, but well worth it. Here’s a few quotes from it: Marxism or Decadence? The Cause of Western Weakness
When US President Ronald Reagan was elected in 1980, after Jimmy Carter had made a mockery out of the presidency and his inaction contributed to the success of the Islamic Revolution in Iran in 1979, the massive Soviet military machinery placed medium-range SS-20 nuclear missiles to intimidate Western Europe and split NATO. They also encouraged massive demonstrations and campaigns within the West for unilateral Western disarmament. Yet Reagan chose to up the ante by deploying new U.S. nuclear missiles in Europe. He denounced the Soviet Union as the “Evil Empire” and engaged the Soviets in a military build-up that bankrupted their fragile economy. Reagan, who dared to challenge blackmail from one of the most brutal regimes in human history, was reviled and ridiculed by the leftist intelligentsia, and is still hated even a generation after the Cold War ended. Yet a man such as Mr. Treholt, who appeased the same regime, is viewed in positive terms.
Sadly, conservatives demsontrated negligence after the Cold War. We never properly denounced Marxism as an ideology as well as discredited those individuals who had supported it, the way it was done with Fascism after WW2. That was a mistake. We had a massive fifth column of left-wingers during the Cold War who sapped our strength and appeased our enemies. These very same groups have been allowed to continue their work uninterrupted, and went straight from appeasing Soviet Communism to appeasing Islamic Jihad.
The book The Seventh War, by Israeli journalists Avi Yisacharov and Amos Harel, is based on interviews with Hamas Islamic terrorist leaders in Gaza and Israeli prisons. Hamas leaders told them clearly: “It was the Israeli left and your peace camp that ultimately encouraged us to continue with our suicide attacks. We tried, through our attacks, to create fragmentation and dissention within Israeli society, and the left-wing’s reaction was proof that this was indeed the right approach.”
The West and Westerners in general are treated as the “global oppressive class” by our Marxist-inspired academic elites. From historical experience, in Socialist societies, those deemed a part of the “oppressive class” have at best been deprived of their property, at worst been physically eliminated. Western Leftists really believe their own rhetoric about the West being the cause of most of the problems of the world, and want to “liberate” the planet by bringing down the oppressive class, aka the West

Pacifism in the 21st Century…Part 1

-Apparently according to a poll in Britian, 40% of young Islamic Men want to live under Sharia in Britian.
-Radical Islamists in Australia are calling out to all Muslims in Australia to denounce democracy, and fight for an Islamic state, eventually working towards forming a pan-global Islamic government.
-But of course the west doesn’t see it as an fundamental, ecomonical, idealogical threat. Instead, they want to blame “Multiculturalism” for the Islamic radicals behaviour (via Hotair)
-and we see western societies Bowing to Islamic pressure, getting pushed, and bullied around the block to appease the Islamic population, who have successfully scrapped the Holocaust Memorial Event that was supposed to take place this weekend.
Sounds to me like the UK is pretty much pacified themselves totally and completely. Within 10 years we will see 2-5 Islamic governments in Western Europe. Let’s hope we don’t let it happen to ourselves here in America.

John Kerry reached new lows this weekend (did you know it was possible?) while speaking at the Davos economic summit in Switzerland, calling the US an “international pariah”. There are many jewels to quote, so let’s get started:
The statement came as the 2004 Democratic presidential nominee responded to a question about whether the U.S. government had failed to adequately engage Iran’s government before the election of hard-liner Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in 2005. Kerry said the Bush administration has failed to adequately address a number of foreign policy issues.
“When we walk away from global warming, Kyoto, when we are irresponsibly slow in moving toward AIDS in Africa, when we don’t advance and live up to our own rhetoric and standards, we set a terrible message of duplicity and hypocrisy,” Kerry said.
“So we have a crisis of confidence in the Middle East - in the world, really. I’ve never seen our country as isolated, as much as a sort of international pariah for a number of reasons as it is today.”
Ok, no big news there…Kerry criticizes Bush. Pretty low to be doing this over-seas, though, right? Oh wait, he’s already sung this tune before.
Then he goes on to criticize the country as a whole, acting as if he is not there at the summit to represent our interests (::shudder::), but instead to finally get out all his “real” feelings, and try to make some new European and Middle Eastern friends (later on, they sang “We are the World” and skipped down the beach together, holding hands). Pretty hilarious for Mr. “I was for the war before I was against it” to be preaching about duplicity and hypocrisy. But that’s not where the hypocrisy ends. Captain Ed reminds us how every example Kerry used also happens to be complete crap:
Once again, we have the spectre of Kyoto haunting the Bush administration, when it was the Clinton administration that refused to submit the treaty to the Senate — and the Senate that unanimously passed a resolution saying they’d never ratify it. The Byrd-Hagel Resolution in 1997 made it clear that the US would not allow itself to be bound by the treaty as long as it exempted India, China, and other developing nations. That’s the same position as the Bush Administration has taken — and the same position that John Kerry himself took in 1997 when he voted in favor of the Byrd-Hagel Resolution.
That’s yet another example of the hypocrisy of John Kerry — but there’s more.
He took the time to scold the Bush administration for its lack of effort on AIDS and other diseases in Africa. However, Bush has already spent more on these issues than the last Democratic administration did in eight years. Humanitarian aid to Africa comprised $1.4 billion a year at the end of the Clinton administration, but Bush has tripled that to $4 billion per year — and wants to more than double it over the next two years
The problem is, most of the people attending the summit, and watching Kerry speak on TV, aren’t going to go research all of his empty claims. He does his dirty work just fine, smearing all of us on foreign soil, in front of people he knows will love to hear it. What a patriot.
It doesn’t end there. He has to keep going until he’s specifically insulted Americans:
“…Americans have an unfortunate habit of seeing the world, and other people, exclusively through an American lens, and judging their aspirations through that lens.
We should engage, we should have been more supportive in other ways, we should be less engaged in this neo-con rhetoric of regime change, and more involved in building relationships and living up to our own values to that other people make a different judgment about us.”
Apparently he isn’t an American anymore? Or just hates all Americans, including himself? So, if I see Al Qaeda’s “aspirations” to kill me as…wanting to kill me, or Iran’s “aspirations” to get nuclear weapons as…wanting to kill me, I’m just looking at it from the wrong perspective?
Searching for logic in Kerry’s words is like waiting for Jack Bauer to stop and take a pee break. NOT. GOING. TO. HAPPEN.
And just when you think it can’t get worse, Allah points out who Kerry was sitting right next to while spouting his wisdom:
He said this while seated next to the former CEO of one of the world’s foremost terrorist states, which as we speak is working on building nuclear weapons, bankrolling Hezbollah’s efforts to foment civil war in Lebanon and Hamas’s exterminationist jihad against Israel, and supplying Shiite militias with IEDs to kill American soldiers in Iraq. Whose current leadership, lest we forget, Kerry has previously signaled a desire to meet with. Note the bolded bit in the quote, too: given a direct choice between defending the president or siding with the Iranian government circa 2003 — whose nominal leader was, of course, Khatami himself — Lurch essentially chose the latter.
Then he signed an autograph for the pig. The same pig who, six months ago, defended executing gays for the crime of homosexuality.
Allah also has the video. Be sure to watch it so you can get your daily dose of dripping elite-ism.
Also, Glenn Reynolds pegs it:
Like Jimmy Carter, he’ll never forgive America for rejecting him, and he’ll console himself with the approval of America’s enemies.
This guy was almost our president.
