Bush nominates Sunni Muslim to UN ambassador post; is this really happening?

President Bush is set to nominate Zalmay Khalilzad to be the new US Ambassador to the UN. He is currently the ambassador to Iraq and formerly the ambassador to Afghanistan.

I wonder what his thought’s on Sharia law are? Surely he can’t be a “true” muslim if he supports democracy can he? He’s the highest ranking official in the United States government. Please prove me wrong Mr. Khalilzad. We infidels are concerned….
