Iran in U.S. Crosshairs….War inevitable?

I don’t know how you all are feeling, but doesn’t it just “feel” like War is inevitable with Iran before Bush leaves the White House? Israel is crying out for support against Iran, who are claiming they are “ready” for any attack, claiming the capablity to take out large warships with their missle defense system. In addition to tha, the U.S. has just sent another aircraft carrier to the gulf to step up pressure.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards test-fired missiles on Thursday that a commander said could sink “big warships” in the Gulf, the Sea of Oman and the northern Indian Ocean, the state broadcaster said.Iran is at loggerheads with the United States over its disputed nuclear program and what Washington calls its meddling in Iraq. The United States has ordered a second aircraft carrier to the Gulf to step up pressure on Iran.

“These missiles, with a maximum range of 350 km (220 miles), can hit different kinds of big warships in all of the Persian Gulf, all of the Sea of Oman and the north of the Indian Ocean,” senior Revolutionary Guards naval commander Ali Fadavi said.

Fadavi was also quoted by the state broadcaster’s Web site as saying that the 500-kg (1,100-lb) warhead of this missile had the capacity to sink “all kinds of big warships”.

Not that this is what I want to happen (War with Iran), but more like this is what needs to happen if we are going to stop a genocidal inciting maniac from killing millions of people.

    JP your pin head is showing. Iran is a threat to the World. Israel is just the "scapegoat" per usual. Stop the video games and read a little you silly twit.

    It's not just Israel my friend.....it's the entire belief system of fundamental Islam...Israel is just a copout reason to hate the Infidels. The Islamic world has their eyes sighted on taking over every government in the world, instituting Sharia law if they had the power to do so. Thankfully, most of them though are stuck in the third world. Israel's just the first and foremost target for them. It won't start there. Islam vs. Infidels is going on all over the world. Just in case you hadn't heard...IF you don't convert, YOU DIE. So what do you do?

    I don't see why we should have to get into a fight that belongs to Israel. We have been manipulated into doing their dirty work for too long. Israel is the one who is the regional enemy and they should solve their own problems (with the weapons we sell them ofcourse).
