NY Times investigating CAIR

CAIR is making plenty of news in the last couple days.  The NY Times is also getting into the act. I figured I would shed a little light on some direct quotes spoken directly from those high up in this organization.  All quotes are linked and referenced if you are skeptical of these statements.

the United States to be Islamic sometime in the future…But I’m not going to do anything violent to promote that. I’m going to do it through education.” – Ibrahim Hooper – CAIR Spokesperson

“Some people try to hold us responsible for the actions of people that
are associated with our organization. That’s absolutely ludicrous …
you don’t hold all of Enron responsible for what Ken Lay did.” – Corey Saylor, CAIR Director of Government Affairs

“We are to the American Muslim community what the NAACP is to blacks in America. If you attack us, you are attacking the Muslim community and the religion of Islam in this country.” – Ahmed Batier, CAIR-Florida, Communications Director (Mpls Star-Trib -10/24/06)

“Catholic priests pose more of a terrorism threat by having sex with young altar boys than those who flew planes into the World Trade Center.” – Ahmed Batier, CAIR-Florida, Communications Director

    Funny, islamic mullahs molest boys in madrassas, and CAIR remains silent. Taqqiya, anyone?
  • Fortunately, even if CARE were to contest any national elections, they would never get into power, because the majority of Americans aren't Muslims, and even the left-wing would keep them out of power by voting for the Democrats. The group ought to be outlawed, because clearly it could pose a risk to US security. It seems to be the case, that in order to be sent to Guantanamo Bay, an Islamic extremist must becaught outside the US. Can't these CARE people all be sent there? At least there's evidence against them.
