*Update* There’s a great discussion about this exact post over at Newsvine, Check it out! Lost of comments.
I must say I’m not surprised, but I am disgusted at the cowardly acts of Britain saying that this capture was legal and will be dealt with through diplomatic means.
Since when is capturing 15 Servicemen NOT an act of war? How has our society been so diluted to the fact that there is evil in this world.
I saw more Anna Nicole headlines this morning than I did about this ongoing crisis with the 15 British hostages.
It’s really sad to see Britain behave this way. Do they not care that their soldiers are being interrogated? I’m just disgusted and I feel for those 15 families.
Iranians Interrogate captured British Marines
The 15 Royal Marines and sailors captured by Iran are being “interrogated”, officials in Tehran said today.
Amid fears that the 14 men and one woman face a show trial, Iranian television reported that the country did not want to exchange the Britons for five Iranians arrested in northern Iraq two months ago.
The Blotter (ABC) is reporting this was a calculated attack in retaliation for the arrest of five Revolutionary Guard–Quds Force officers from the Iranian consulate in Irbil, Iraq, by U.S. forces on Jan. 11
**confirmed** – This was retaliation for the Irbil Incident.
