Saudi Gang-Rape Victim Faces 90 Lashes

This will certainly teach all those Muslim ladies in Saudi Arabia not to go out and get gang-raped. Good thing women aren’t oppressed in Islam, otherwise there might have been actual outrage about this in our press and by our feminists. Phew! Dodged a bullet there.

A Saudi woman who was kidnapped at knifepoint, gang-raped, and then beaten by her brother has been sentenced to 90 lashes – for meeting a man who was not a relative, a newspaper reported Monday.

[...] After driving off together from a shopping mall near her home, the woman and the man were stopped and abducted by a gang of men wielding kitchen knives who took them to a farm where she was raped 14 times by her captors.

[...] Five men were arrested for the rape and given jail terms ranging from 10 months to five years by a panel of judges in the eastern city of Qatif, near the woman’s hometown.

    Your less than suave sarcasm and ill-informed stories (corruption is not a form of justice) are just in bad taste. Your erratic rant is ill-placed, focus on the problems back home. (FLD and children polygamy,Vtech and the Madoff case etc)

    Obviously you have less than humanitarian motives (The blog's name is sufficient evidence ) and furthermore since (knowingly?) your apparent activism will not hit the middle eastern demographic (sadly as theyre command of english is limited). I think its safe to say that you are trying to prove your view on default by comparison . All I can salvage by your opinions is that the middle east and specifically Saudi Arabia are misguided sadistic medieval savages who need a little american dressed democracy and Darwin as their savior.Im pretty sure that I hit the nail on the head, otherwise please emphasis with actual facts or at least with a semblance of knowledge/reason.

    Incidentially I am from Canada and have been in Saudi Arabia for a little over 6 years and while such incidents do rarely occur they are not taken lightly (rape is a death-penalty, or did you not know?) and such incidents are such a shame but can you honestly blame religion (generally) or the human nature? Ignorance, from experience is the only mitigating factor.

    Just a couple of questions, have you guys actually been to Saudi Arabia? If not why the self-justified cruscade?Do you even realise that your selective bias/reasoning is suggestive at the least?

    Open to rational discussion.

    I bet you feel good about the eloquence in which you write. Well, I'm not impressed. I'm glad you enjoy living in Saudi Barbaria. I feel bad for you that you haven't a clue what Islam really stands for. I really feel bad for such ignorant people like yourself. I can only pray that one day you'll get a good slap of reality when you realize that Islam is cancerous system of political, religious and militaristic elements. Islam threatens peace to the whole world.

    Plus, no where will you see Kal or I saying racist things, threatening anyone, trolling or being vulgar. You're typical…we deal with the likes of you all the time…you're lying to everyone here and we all know it. How's that taqiya going for you? You won't get away with it here.

    Oh, and I don't need to go to Saudi Arabia to know what goes on there. That's an argument for idiot's sake.

    Personal insults don't bother us. We stick to the issues. We read the news. We stay informed. We don't form our opinions based on what the local Imam requires us to read. Unlike the majority of the Muslim community, we CARE about what happens around the world. We care about innocent people being slaughtered by Muslims over and over again, and that's why we speak out against this ridiculously evil ideology that by the grace of Satan has spread throughout so many countries on Earth. There will be an end to Islam one day when the world has finally had enough. We are simply the whistleblowers.
