More evidence of the democrats having their own definition of “enemy”.
The Bush administration has been given the green light by Congress to spend about $60 million on upgrading Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas’s presidential guard and for other security expenses, a senior State Department official said on Tuesday.

A large chunk of the initial $86 million request had been intended for training Abbas’s security forces, the closest thing the Palestinians have to an army.
But U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice submitted a new, pared-down plan to Congress, cutting out funds she feared could have reached the “wrong hands.”
I gotta say though, how can our government still send money to these people, when they continue to condone (much less put a stop to) terror attacks? The article makes a point of quoting an official as saying Israel gets the same thing. What is this, making sure all the kids are happy and don’t think mommy plays favorites? Disgusting.

As Pelosi’s and Reid’s congress continue with the Screw-the-Troops agenda by withholding funding for the war, they wasted no time at all sending 60 million smackaroos to fund terrorists with badges, also know as the “Palestinian” security forces. One of the perpetual absurd arguments is that Abbas’ Fatah party is not terrorist, while Hamas is. The effort to Deny by Declaration the truth and history of the historically savage and bloodthirsty agenda of Fatah remains astounding to me. And here we are, using your hard-earned tax dollars, funding these insane monsters.
This whole thing makes me want to scream.
