John Edwards came out again today with his usual obsessive Bush hatred combined with his pacifistic, wussifistic, pathetic, un-intelligent, garbage :
“We need a post-Bush, post-9/11, post-Iraq military that is mission focused on protecting Americans from 21st century threats, not misused for discredited ideological purposes,” Edwards said in remarks prepared for delivery. “By framing this as a war, we have walked right into the trap the terrorists have set—that we are engaged in some kind of clash of civilizations and a war on Islam.”
And how is the ideology of defeating radical Islam discredited? I assume he’s talking about, again, more hatred of the ideology of the Bush Administration, completely over-looking/denying the real threat that is RADICAL ISLAM.
Oh, and he also said, “some kind of clash of civilizations and a war on Islam”……
Ummm…ya think????
Wow, thanks for that insightful information into Islamic terrorism, John, you seem like such a visionary…
Amnesty International also came out today and said “the “war on terror” is “dividing the world”.
The gap between Muslims and non-Muslims notably deepened, fueled by discriminatory counter-terrorism strategies in Western countries, warned the rights group in its annual report.
Human rights are also routinely flouted in Iraq and Afghanistan, on the front line of the US-led crackdown on international extremism since the September 11, 2001 attacks which triggered a profound geopolitical shift.
Cause, you know, this is all our fault, this whole war on terror thing, ya know, it’s the West’s fault, because God forbid we actually “crack down on terrorism” cause, ya know…all we need to do is “talk” and we can resolve most of our differences, you know?
Forget about the fact that our enemy will not hesitate to behead, shoot, stab, rape and pillage all in the name of Allah, but, ya know, I think you could talk them out of it.
