Escalate! They killed a hostage – so kill 10 Taleban prisoners. They killed a 2nd hostage, so kill 100 Taleban prisoners. If they kill a thied, kill 1,000 Taleban prisoners. ESCALATE! THAT they might understand. Anything else will just encourage them to do it more.

True, I don’t agree with missionary work inside enemy territory during a time of war, but let’s not compare overzealous Christian missionaries with the Convert or Die Muslims in that country.

Don’t miss understand what I’m saying, I don’t remember what article I was quoting from. However what I’m trying to saying South Korean Christian Missionaries poking around in a deeply Islamic country during a war time, was just asking for trouble no matter how charitable the motivation. I won’t go as far as calling it stupid; however they couldn’t have done worse if they painted bull eyes on them selves.

Where is it that you are reading that these South Koreans are “Christian Fundamentalists”? When you say they’re “very aggressive” does that mean they kidnap Muslims and forcefully convert them to Christianity? And if they don’t they get killed?

It’s naive and downright ignorant to compare Christian Missionaries who are spreading the Christian Gospel peacefully, to a group of murderous, hateful people who stand for an ideology of hate, murder, submission, and domination who will kidnap you and tell you to Convert or DIE.

Quite a HUGE difference indeed.

I think what’s happening with the South Koreans is terrible. However correct me if I’m wrong, any time you mix Christian fundamentalist and Islamic fundamentalist, you’re just asking for trouble. From what I heard this South Korean Christian group are very aggressive when it come to there recruiting practices. This tragedy never needed to happen. I’m trying to say this with the friendliest of intention, so if I’m offending anyone, I’m sorry.

Good point on Italy, Senior, I had forgotten that they caved to negotiating with the Taliban before, and now they continue to do it because they think they can get away with it.

The US hasn’t encouraged Afghanistan to militarily intervene. I think Italy must accept some responsibility for what’s happening to the South Koreans. The Taleban got its way with Italy, so now it believes it can get its way again.
