Yemen To Ban Citizens From Carrying Personal Arms

The Yemeni government has decided that beginning September 1, citizens will no longer be able to carry their personal weapons in public,

The move is an effort to prevent the armament of the country’s citizenry.

As a preliminary step, yesterday the Interior Ministry announced a ban on carrying weapons in the capital of Sanaa and in the provincial capitals.
