Purges of Dissident University Lecturers In Iran

In advance of the new academic year in Iran, the regime is conducting a new wave of purges of dissident lecturers and reformists among teaching staffs.

In recent weeks, 15 lecturers from Allameh Tabatabaei University in Tehran have been removed.

Some of them have been pressured not to reveal the reasons for their leaving.
