‘Abd Al-Fatah Awadh, editor of the Syrian government newspaper Al-Thawra, stated in an editorial that news of nuclear cooperation between Syria and North Korea was false and was aimed at granting legitimacy to Israel’s violation of Syrian airspace.

He said that in recent years Syria had been dealing with a flood of claims that had been disproved, and that this claim too would turn out to be false.
