Speaking straightforward.  Always love it when Cheney makes his mark.  Woulda been a much better Prez than Bush, imo.   Not afraid to take it to the enemy, and can handle criticism with the best of em.

Vice President Dick Cheney Sunday said the United States and its allies would not permit Iran to get nuclear weapons and warned of “serious consequences” if it continues to enrich uranium.

The Iranian regime needs to know that if it stays on its present course, the international community is prepared to impose serious consequences,” he said in a speech to the Washington Institute for Near East Policy.

The United States and its allies “will not allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon,” he said.

Yeah, I like the song(and the singer) but I’ve heard it too many times. It’s been in the Top-Ten for several years. The Mullatocracy has been put on notice so many times by the Europeans, the U.N. and by the Administration. It’s time for action already. Time for a few hundred new Ground Zeros and the melting away of all hope for the nuclear jihad. I wish we could kill them with songs or jokes, but it’s our timidness that makes them laugh.

We have about one year to do something about this regime. If the front running dhiminicrat gets elected in ’08, she will do nothing until there is a mushroom cloud over Tel Aviv. Or here. Then, she will try to get UN sanctions against Iran. Negotiate a peace treaty.

The two scariest words in American should be, “Madam President.”
