“Message to the Peoples of Europe”

All praise is for Allah, who didn’t create the Creation for nothing, and didn’t leave them in vain, but rather, created them to worship Him. And intelligent people obey Him, and miserable ones disobey him.

As for what comes after:

This message of mine is to the peoples of the states allied to America in the invasion of Afghanistan and I mention specifically Europe. Peace be on those who follow the guidance: It isn’t hidden from you that the Afghans have tasted the two bitterest things for two decades at the hands of the Russians and their Communist agents, but they persevered, fought, and were resolute and victorious, by the Grace of Allah.

And before their wounds had healed and their grief had ended, they were invaded without right by your unjust governments, without stopping to think about or reflect on Bush’s claim that this invasion was a response to the events of the 11th, although–as I mentioned previously–the events of Manhattan were a response to the American-Israeli coalition’s murder of our people in Palestine and Lebanon.

And it was I who was responsible for 9/11, and I stress that all Afghans–both government and people–had no knowledge of those events and America knows that, because some of the Taliban’s ministers fell into its hands as captives, and they were interrogated and that became known. And that’s why the Taliban government requested America to produce the evidence for the truth of its claims prior to the invasion, but it didn’t produce any evidence, and instead insisted on invading; and Europe marched behind it in that, and had no choice but to be its vassal.

It suffices as evidence of this your entering of this war and your excusing of American soldiers from being held to account by the European courts. For this reason, this address of mine is to you, not to your politicians, as it is no longer a secret that Blair, Brown, Berlusconi, Aznar, Sarkozy and those with him and their like love to shade themselves in the shade of the White House. And there isn’t a major difference worth mentioning between them and many of the leaders of the Third World.

So to summarize, in this war you have combined two injustices: the first is that this war was waged against the Afghans without right. You didn’t have even one piece of evidence suitable for submission to a court. Additionally, you destroyed the camps of al-Qaida and killed some of its members, and you captured others, most of who were from Pakistan. So what is the sin of the Afghans due to which you are continuing this unjust war against them? Their only sin is that they are Muslims, and this illustrates the extent of the Crusaders’ hatred of Islam and its people.

Second, in this war, you have not observed the ethics and protocol of warfare. Most of your victims–as a result of the bombing–are women and children, and intentionally so. You know that our women don’t fight, yet you target them even on days of celebration, knowingly and adamantly, hoping by that to break the morale of the Mujahideen. This will not benefit you, however, for we are resolute and, by the grace of Allah, the Glorious and Great, continuing to take revenge on the unjust and expel the occupying invaders. I have personally witnessed incidents like these, and the matter continues on an almost daily basis, and the hospitals are full of innocent people.

You have no religion, morals, humanity or shame. And for your information, the Afghan people are a courageous, defiant, jealous, honorable, religious Muslim people who refuse humiliation and submission to invaders. And their history is rich in resolve and victories. They fought Britain in its glory days and defeated it by the grace of Allah, and fought the Russians in their glory days as well and defeated them by the grace of Allah. And today, they are fighting America and its agents under the leadership of the Commander of the Believers, Mullah Umar, may Allah protect him, and under the command of the Knight of the Field, Hajji Mansoor Dadullah. I ask Allah, the Most High to grant them victory and resolve.

In conclusion, I remind you that the American tide is ebbing, by the grace of Allah, and that they shall soon depart for their homeland beyond the Atlantic and leave the neighbors to settle their accounts with each other. So it is better for you to restrain your politicians who are thronging the steps of the White House and work diligently to remove oppression from the oppressed, for justice is right and injustice is torment, and returning to the truth is the hallmark of men of understanding. And peace be on those who follow the guidance.

KHARTOUM, Sudan (AP) - Thousands of Sudanese, many armed with clubs and knives, rallied Friday in a central square and demanded the execution of a British teacher convicted of insulting Islam for allowing her students to name a teddy bear “Muhammad.”

A Muslim cleric at Khartoum’s main Martyrs Mosque denounced Gibbons during one sermon, saying she intentionally insulted Islam. He did not call for protests, however.

I’m sure you “didn’t call for protests” but I bet you did everything short of it.

“Imprisoning this lady does not satisfy the thirst of Muslims in Sudan. But we welcome imprisonment and expulsion,” the cleric, Abdul- Jalil Nazeer al-Karouri, a well-known hard-liner, told worshippers.

“This an arrogant woman who came to our country, cashing her salary in dollars, teaching our children hatred of our Prophet Muhammad,” he said.

Another Liberal talk radio host bites the dust.

So why does Liberal talk radio fail so miserably? Why does it suck so bad? Why do people shy away from liberal talking points like the plague? Maybe because it’s nothing but negative, pessimistic, un-analytical, cynical, un-informed, pointless ranting drivel that drives people away in droves.

People can only take so much of people speaking their “hearts and minds” and not actually discussing history, politics, principles, and important issues that concern most Americans.

Instead, they can’t get off the Bush-hating bandwagon, they can’t get off the “I have no rights anymore” bandwagon, they can’t get off the “republicans hate all blacks, hispanics and gays” bandwagon. These people are so transparent and the American people know it and are showing their discontent by not listening.

Just weeks after claiming she would reshape her faltering radio program to focus on a New York City audience, Whoopi Goldberg has now been cancelled even there.

According to press and trade reports today, Wake Up With Whoopi was yanked from WKTU-FM today without warning, other than a brief note sent to staffers mere hours before the change. Poor ratings were cited by the station.

Recently, after similar results led to terminations in Chicago and Philly, your Radio Equalizer speculated that Whoopi’s radio days appeared numbered. Now, one can easily expect the syndicated program to be shut down, perhaps in the next few days.

And this from the NY Daily news:

After almost 16 months of only modest listenership, Whoopi Goldberg’s morning radio show has been canceled by WKTU (103.5 FM). A memo circulated to the WKTU staff late yesterday said the station will stop carrying Goldberg’s nationally syndicated show as of this morning. Launched on July 31, 2006, the radio show was intended to be a less strident alternative to “shock jock” and Morning Zoo radio.
But it never found a big audience and didn’t crack the top 10 in New York.

HAWIJA, Iraq (AP) - Nearly 6,000 Sunni Arab residents joined a security pact with American Forces Wednesday in what U.S. officers described as a critical step in plugging the remaining escape routes for extremists flushed from former strongholds. The new alliance—called the single largest single volunteer mobilization since the war began—covers the “last gateway” for groups such as al-Qaida in Iraq seeking new havens in Northern Iraq, U.S. military officials said.

U.S. commanders have tried to build a ring around insurgents who fled military offensives launched earlier this year in the western Anbar province and later into Baghdad and surrounding areas. In many places, the U.S.-led battles were given key help from tribal militias—mainly Sunnis—that had turned again al-Qaida and other groups.

[…] The ceremony to pledge the 6,000 new fighters was presided over by dozen sheiks—each draped in black robes trimmed with gold braiding—who signed the contract on behalf of tribesmen at a small U.S. outpost in north-central Iraq.

For about $275 a month—nearly the salary for the typical Iraqi policeman—the tribesmen will man about 200 security checkpoints beginning Dec. 7, supplementing hundreds of Iraqi forces already in the area.

About 77,000 Iraqis nationwide, mostly Sunnis, have broken with the insurgents and joined U.S.-backed self-defense groups.

I guess “feminism” only applies to non-Muslim countries? via American Pundit

In the U.S., a spokeswoman for the National Organization for Women said the situation “is definitely on the radar, and N.O.W. is not ignoring it.”

But she added that the U.S.-based organization is “not putting out a statement or taking a position.”

Radio personality Tammy Bruce, former president of the Los Angles chapter of the National Organization for Women and past member of their board of directors, criticized the organization for not taking a stand.

“We have a duty to make a difference for women around the world,” Bruce told FOX News. “The supposed feminist establishment is refusing to take a position in this regard because they have no sensibility of what is right anymore. They’re afraid of offending people. They are bound by political correctness.”

“The American feminist movement has not taken one stand to support the women of Iraq, the women of Afghanistan, the women of Iran,” she said. “It is the United States Marines who have been doing the feminist work by liberating women and children around the world.”

Last night, Hugh Hewitt had on his show Youtube’s “Director of news and politics”, Steve Grove discussing tonight’s upcoming youtube debate and how it affects the integrity of the political process.

This is really comical, actually.  Hugh is trying to ask some legitimate questions about the debate and Grove continually ignores Hugh completely and just keeps talking acting like he doesn’t even hear Hugh trying to speak.  As soon as Hugh starts asking about his background, Grove gets offended and and then continues to repeat his leftist talking points.

The fact is that all the questions from this debate will be chosen by CNN’s David Bohrman.  The debate’s questions are picked by Bohrman and his “team”.

Hugh : “It’s the antithesis of reasoned and informed discussion” … “A descent into chaos of informed discussion, debate, and follow-up”

Frankly, I’m looking forward to seeing this debate, although I understand Hugh’s sentiments about the whole thing.  I think this kind of format can eventually be a good idea for the political process, but for now it’s still in it’s baby-stages, unregulated with no checks and balances.  You have a partisan group choosing the questions and then you see precious wasted time with embarrassing videos from snowmen and other short videos that are a complete joke.  This kind of thing can eventually be a good way for the political process to include the youtube format into a debate, but it has a long way to go before it will be legitimate and worthwhile to the concerned minds of the American people when choosing their next President.
