Conversation with a Liberal

Why is it that when you try to have a honest, intellectual, analytical discussion with a liberal, they throw stuff…

  • They throw one-liners
  • They throw personal insults
  • They throw emotional opinion around like it’s factual
  • They throw the “I’m offended” card at you
  • They throw apples into the conversation when your talking about oranges
  • They throw away tasteful discussion and supplant distasteful rhetoric

I just finished somewhat of a discussion with a liberal friend online and it was near impossible for them to be honest when confronted with factual information. I was blasted with “Breathe, John” or “You like to hear yourself speak, don’t you”. Comments that completely dillute the substance of the conversation easily diverting the conversation from actually discussing the issues. This is what’s wrong with the left. When they feel insulted, or defeated, they backtrack into a world of personal insults and sarcasm as their defense mechanism. It’s really sad.

    One could take a page from The Koran, as a conservative—
    You either covert them or defeat them. Don’t try and reason with a liberal. The key to conversion could be comedy. An opening found through laughter
    leading to reading Infidels Are Cool, instead of repeating once again some Marxist propaganda.

    The normal liberal stance is “Shouting” , lying and denegrating with lies, if truth is not available. They also have classes in “Ignoring inconvenient truth” as demonstrated by the Hillary campaign. The only way to combat that is truth, stated often and loudly. The truth doesn’t always win. They elected Tricky Willie twice……and nobody mentioned the lady he raped did they? That’s cause the truth wasn’t stated LOUDLY ENOUGH.

    Arguing with a liberal is like the difference between muslim clerics and secular leaders in arab countries. With imams and liberals, there is no negotiation. It’s “hallal” (PC) or “haram” (un-PC). With them there is no middle ground. Course with the “elite” anything goes. For example: Rosie O’Donnel was wildly, publicly anti-gun, even for home protection…..but is constantly accompanied by an ARMED bodyguard. What’s the diff between me and sweet Rosie? I just cut out the middle man and arm myself.

    I suupose the same could be said about liberals. No logic, of course, just a bunch of name-calling and one-liners.
