Rudy,
Your right to bear arms and defend your life comes from God, not from the Constitution, i.e.: the second amendment of the Bill of Rights. The second amendment simply restrains government from infringing on that right which pre-dates the Constitution. The second amendment confers no right in and of its self - as stated, that right is God-given, not government-given.

The Declaration of Independence informs us as to the origin of our sacred human rights.

http://www.ushistory.org/declaration/document/index.htm

Our Constitution’s Bill of Rights offers a wonderful degree of protection of those rights from the sometimes tyrannical hand of government.

http://www.ushistory.org/documents/amendments.htm

If the Supreme Court, for example, were to render the second amendment null and void through some court decision which infringed the natural right of the individual to exercise self-defense; it would be an act of tyranny.

"Americans have the right and advantage of being armed - unlike the citizens of other countries whose governments are afraid to trust the people with arms. “ James Madison

“Arms in the hands of citizens may be used at individual discretion... in private self-defense.” John Adams

“The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.” Thomas Jefferson

Not all of us are sheeple. I for one will be damned if some shopping center run by a bunch of pussies will deny me my Constitutional Right to bear arms. To quote the late great Charlton Heston "From my cold dead hands!" (likely that even in death those pansy liberals couldn't break it loose from my grip haha). There are only two choices left to us - Gun owner, or Victim. I choose the former.
