I won’t ignore this mail by saying that it is simply a copy paste. I will reply it. But I took a bit of time since it’s not a mere copy paste reply and since I am not an Islamic scholar. I will value every single word that I type on this reply because I am doing what my lord has told me to do “spread the truth” and in the process I am learning as well. But what would be valuable for you brother is you reading the Quran by yourself and posting any questions though I believe you would have no questions provided you read it objectively.

Remember, I told there is not a single , I mean a single thing in Islam that goes against the humanity. If you want to learn Islam brother just read the Quran and voice your opinion. Coming to the what you quoted below. Well N.J. Danwood’s translation of the Quran , named “Koran” is a translation which according to the general consensus of the scholars have many mistakes. Don’t get me wrong. I am not telling that the whole translation is wrong but there are inaccuracies. To give you proof , well there has been revisions with more than 55 reprints over five decades.

If you want to read a translation that is considered to be very good , then read the translation of Abdullah Yusuf Ali’s English version since N.J. Danwood’s translation of the Quran , named “Koran” is a translation which according to the general consensus of the scholars have many mistakes. There has been revisions with more than 55 reprints over five decades.

I know that you did not read what you just copied but please have some patience to read what I wrote as my reply because we don’t won’t you and others to go astray. We want everyone to follow the right path.

I relied the best way I could. There are others who could give you a better reply if required. But Insha Allah , I hope you understand . The following quotes are taken from the Koran (translated by N.J. Danwood). By reading these quotes you will have a basic understanding of the Muslim religion and its relation with terrorism:,

One method that most Anti Islamic elements do to mislead the reader is that they conveniently omit some connected verses of the Quran or leave out some text of the same verse. This is such an instance. Please read below the complete verse and judge for yourself what it states.

Surah 2:190.-193 “Fight for the sake of God those that fight against you, but do not attack them first. God does not love the aggressors. Slay them wherever you find them. Drive them out of the places from which they drove you. Idolatry is more grievous than bloodshed. But do not fight them within the precincts of the Holy Mosque unless they attack you there; if they attack you put them to the sword. Thus shall the unbelievers be rewarded: but if they mend their ways, know that God is forgiving and merciful. Fight against them until idolatry is no more and God’s religion reigns supreme.”

Fight them only when they fight you and that is for the cause of Allah. So you cannot just go on killing people who do not believe but if they obstruct your strive and struggle for the sake of Allah, then fight them. So can’t you fight when someone tries to stop you, will you just wait ????

The above mentioned “fighting” is the fighting referred in the first verse ( Surah 2:190). So when one fights you , you have been ordained to fight back for the cause of Allah. Remember when one fights you.

3:15 Say: Shall I give you glad tidings of things Far better than those? For in Allah’s sight are (all) His servants,-

Allah says keep away from certain things in this world and Allah has created separate pure companions for you as reward in the hereafter. I mean think about it. There are people whose sexual life is of fullest satisfaction with the association of many partners(Legal partners, mistresses, prostitutes ) . But there are people who bottle their feelings for the sake of Allah. Even if their unmarried they do not go to brothels or have any sexual relationship with anyone because they fear Allah. But when will these people be rewarded for what they don’t do even though they possess the same feelings.

Allah has forbid these things for very good reason because it goes against humanity and it creates nothing but problems in this world. Hereafter is going to be different. In paradise mankind would be free of feelings such hatred, Jalousies, etc.

Let’s look at the verses.

3:118 O ye who believe! Take not into your intimacy those outside your ranks: They will not fail to corrupt you. They only desire your ruin: Rank hatred has already appeared from their mouths: What their hearts conceal is far worse. We have made plain to you the Signs, if ye have wisdom.

3:119 Ah! ye are those who love them, but they love you not,- though ye believe in the whole of the Book. When they meet you, they say, “We believe”: But when they are alone, they bite off the very tips of their fingers at you in their rage. Say: “Perish in you rage; Allah knoweth well all the secrets of the heart.”

So the accusation is that we Muslims should not have relationships with Non-Muslims. Please don’t get this wrong. If you go to these anti Islamic websites they would mention this and give their own interpretation saying that we Muslims should not associate with Non Muslims. They would ignore the Quran verses which would give the reader the clear true picture.

Say a Non-Muslim (for that matter even a Muslim) calls me for a party which serves Alcohol, pork , dancing. These things our prohibited in Islam. Now if I ignore these prohibitions and go to this party just to satisfy that Non-Muslim, well this cannot be accepted. So you get it. We cannot be Compromising with non Muslims and being nice to them at the expense of one’s religion. We cannot tie knots with Non-Muslims at the expense of Islam. Imagine if we do this we are actually not helping to spread Islam but rather contributing to its diminution.

We cannot have a relation with a Non Muslim if he has a influence on you and your belief and obedience to Allah is in danger. But if it’s the vice versa then we can continue so that he/ she may understand the truth.

We know that there are Non Muslims who are peaceful and kind. It’s not that we cannot associate with them provided it satisfies what I mentioned above. We can talk to them. Visit them and eat their food provided it’s halal. We have to treat them with Just and Kindness. See what the glorious Quran says. These things you would not find in the anti Islamic website.

60:8 Allah forbids you not, with regard to those who fight you not for (your) Faith nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them: for Allah love those who are just.

60:9 Allah only forbids you, with regard to those who fight you for (your) Faith, and drive you out of your homes, and support (others) in driving you out, from turning to them (for friendship and protection). It is such as turn to them (in these circumstances), that do wrong.

It’s clear by these verses that the Non-Muslims referred here are those who fight against your faith, drive you out of your homes and those who support these acts. As to the other peaceful Non-Muslims who respect you , you need to be kind and just to them and you’re not forbidden from turning to them for friendship and protection. So brother we could be friends.

The verses 3:181 – 3:184 describe people continuing to resist god and the messengers sent . Please provide a logical argument against these verses since I am not sure what the issue is here.

3:181 Allah hath heard the taunt of those who say: “Truly, Allah is indigent and we are rich!”- We shall certainly record their word and (their act) of slaying the prophets in defiance of right, and We shall say: “Taste ye the penalty of the Scorching Fire!

3:182 “This is because of the (unrighteous deeds) which your hands sent on before ye: For Allah never harms those who serve Him.”

3:183 They (also) said: “Allah took our promise not to believe in an apostle unless He showed us a sacrifice consumed by Fire (From heaven).” Say: “There came to you apostles before me, with clear Signs and even with what ye ask for: why then did ye slay them, if ye speak the truth?”

3:184 Then if they reject thee, so were rejected apostles before thee, who came with Clear Signs, Books of dark prophecies, and the Book of Enlightenment.

“If you wish to replace a wife with another, do not take from her the dowry you have given her…” (Surah 4:20)

This verse does not have the full text because the latter part of this verse with the verses before and after it deals with protecting the women. Islam has been propagated as a religion that degrades the women and provides no protection to the women. So this part has been taken out. Also the previous verses have not been made available to the reader to avoid them from having a full understanding of the message.

Let’s see all these verses. You judge for yourself brother.

4:19 O ye who believe! Ye are forbidden to inherit women against their will. Nor should ye treat them with harshness, that ye may Take away part of the dower ye have given them,-except where they have been guilty of open lewdness; on the contrary live with them on a footing of kindness and equity. If ye take a dislike to them it may be that ye dislike a thing, and Allah brings about through it a great deal of good.

4:20 But if ye decide to take one wife in place of another, even if ye had given the latter a whole treasure for dower, Take not the least bit of it back: Would ye take it by slander and manifest wrong?

4:21 And how could ye take it when ye have gone in unto each other, and they have Taken from you a solemn covenant?

“Forbidden to you are…married women, except those you own as slaves.” (Surah 4:20-, 24-)

So the issue her I suppose is the provision in Islam for having sexual relationship with Slaves. Don’t get excited. There is a logical explanation and that’s the very reason Islam is in fact the truth. Below I have pasted an article that talks about this subject in detail.

Let me first assure you that your question has been in the minds and on the tongues of so many people before. Anyone who cares for humanity and the dignity of people will be heated when they touch upon an issue like this. But, of course, when we know what is behind the scenes, when we understand the truth, then we will know that our question should have been formed in another way.
Let’s first agree that speaking about something that does not exist in the modern world is troubling our minds with things that are not socially constructive or needed nowadays.
Speaking about slavery in this era of technology seems to be off the track or outdated, simply because we have so many other issues that represent a real challenge for Muslims and non-Muslims. Drugs, family stability, domestic violence, child abuse, world peace are nothing but a few in the long list.
You ask how sex with slaves was viewed and why, and what was the outcome of this relation.
Basically, Islam came while slavery was an inherited tradition, very deep-rooted in the heart of the Arab society. Children born from a relation between a master and his slave woman were not recognized as free children. On the contrary, they were to follow the hard track of their mothers and lead a tough life of slavery and humiliation.
The very well-known Arab poet `Antarah from the tribe of Banu `Abs is an embodiment of this epic of struggle for freedom. `Antarah was the son of a member of `Abs tribe and of an African slave. The tribe neglected him as an illegitimate son or slave. But `Antarah’s personal qualities and courage gained him attention and respect. He also excelled as a great poet and a mighty fighter. When the `Abs needed him to protect them against another tribe, his father, Shaddad, acknowledged him as his son, and granted him freedom.
A master had the right to have sexual relations with his slave woman with no rights due to her. Such a relation was not socially frowned upon because it was normal in that society, but what was really awful is that the slave woman had no rights, making her simply a sex object.
Since Islam came to liberate people from the chains of being socially neglected or humiliated, Islam said that such a relationship must have certain rights. It must mark a change in the life of that slave woman and the outcome of the relation, namely the child. The child was considered free and recognized as the child of the master and no more his slave.
As for the slave woman, such a relationship meant an end to her life as a slave, for she would not be the slave of anyone after her master, the father of her child. That is, she could not be sold to anyone else, and she would be manumitted at her master’s death. This is a unique solution Islam offered to such a miserable life, and imagine what a great change it brought and how many smiles it drew on the faces of many of these agonized slaves.
When Islam came, slavery existed, no doubt about it. And when Islam wanted to ban it, it brought logical and practical solutions for that problem. Many people had their businesses based on trading in slaves and many people were already in the bondage of slavery under their masters at that time.
Let us suppose that Islam had said, overnight, “no more slavery,” what would have happened? Many people would have lost their businesses and gone bankrupt, and the economic stability of the society would have been jeopardized. Worse still, many slaves would have found themselves in the street with no shelter or ability to establish a new life.
There would have been as much chaos and lingering social and racial tensions as occurred when Abraham Lincoln banned slavery. We can still see the social and racial tensions that exist in America today.
Therefore, Islam wanted to bring slavery to an end and drain its sources but in a way that would end happily without causing disruption in the society. Islam started by limiting the sources of acquiring slaves. It prohibited raiding caravans and settled people, and kidnapping and enslaving their women and children. It highly valued the manumission of slaves, and made the freeing of slaves one way of coming nearer to Allah.
Islam made the penance for committing certain religious offenses the liberation of a slave. And above all, it established a fresh concept and obligated people to accept it, namely al-mukatabah or a contract in which a slave could pay the price of his or her freedom and get it upon the completion of installments. Islam obligated the masters to accept their slaves’ initiation of such a contract.
Furthermore, Islam established certain rights due to a female slave after she had given birth to her master’s child, namely, that she would not be categorized as a slave anymore. Rather, she would be elevated to the status of umm walad or mother of a free child, which gave her the privilege of being freed once the father of her child died. Basically, her remaining as umm walad did not really mean she was staying as a slave; rather, she was honored and respected.
Coming to the point of considering a sexual relationship with a female slave as zina (fornication or adultery), I would like to say that it was never considered so for several reasons:
1. A female slave was under the right hand of her master and he was allowed to sleep only with whoever was under his ownership. This was considered like an indirect or special wedlock.
2. The relationship itself was within boundaries and involved rights and responsibilities like the issue of umm al-walad and the freedom of the child, for example. This meant that it was, by no means, similar to adultery, which incurs no rights and establishes no responsibilities. In adultery, any passerby can sleep with a woman and just flee without taking any responsibility for any resulting child or for the woman, which is obviously not the case here.
One remaining point here is that masters did not have to sleep with their female slaves. It was something allowable but not obligatory. Yet it presented, to some extent and in certain times, one glowing way to freedom for many people who suffered slavery.
Also, the Prophet’s mission was not to eradicate slavery, but to establish rights and bring people to the point of being able to eradicate it from their own hearts first before they eradicated it from society. No one can deny that it happened ideally and practically.

“Believers, do not approach your prayers when you are drunk, but wait till you can grasp the meaning of your words…” (Surah 4:43)

The above verses mentioned says not to pray while you have been drunk. So that does not mean you can drink at other times because drinking is prohibited in Islam( Surah 2 :219 ). If that is the issue here !!! I don’t see any other issue. Please let me know if you do.

This whole verse talks about the purification process concerning prayers. Please see below.

4:43 O ye who believe! Approach not prayers with a mind befogged, until ye can understand all that ye say,- nor in a state of ceremonial impurity (Except when travelling on the road), until after washing your whole body. If ye are ill, or on a journey, or one of you cometh from offices of nature, or ye have been in contact with women, and ye find no water, then take for yourselves clean sand or earth, and rub therewith your faces and hands. For Allah doth blot out sins and forgive again and again.

“Seek out your enemies relentlessly.” (Surah 4:103-)

Again this verse has been quoted in isolation to mislead the public. Please look at all the verses and judge for yourself. These verses are in context of a War. Don’t think how come such a holy book talks about war and killing. killing and war has been part of humanity since the start. This was the case even in the establishment of Islam and ALLAH addresses this in the Quran.

See areas underlined. These are things that you won’t see in those Anti Islamic websites.

2:191 And slay them wherever ye catch them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out for tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter; but fight them not at the Sacred Mosque, unless they (first) fight you there; but if they fight you, slay them. Such is the reward of those who suppress faith.

2:192 But if they cease, Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

2:193 And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression and there prevail justice and faith in Allah; but if they cease, let there be no hostility except to those who practice oppression.

9:6 If one amongst the Pagans ask thee for asylum, grant it to him, so that he may hear the word of Allah; and then escort him to where he can be secure. That is because they are men without knowledge.

“Try as you may, you cannot treat all your wives impartially.” (Surah 4:126-)

Islam permits polygamy. It’s not an obligation , a recommendation it’s an option. Though it may not go in line of the present cultural trends , our Lord All wise , has set it out due to various reasons. By nature the average lifespan of a female is more than the male. Even during the pediatric age the female child has more immunity than a male child. Also around the world males die from unnatural causes (war, fights ,etc) and hence you find more females than males in the world.

Today , though some people don’t get married to more than one , they have many mistresses whom they use as sex objects. These mistresses(& children) have no legal right over them. They are merely used as sex objects.

Only Islam has the solution for the above problem. But Allah recognizes that it’s difficult to be absolutely impartial. This impartiality is on the division of love among the wives. Striking a balance on this is beyond human capacity. Rather the equal treatment expected is on the rights of the wives and any injustice deliberately exhibited is punishable . That’s why you would not find people practicing polygamy because with it comes great responsibilities. That’s why the Quran says in

4:3 If ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly with the orphans, Marry women of your choice, Two or three or four; but if ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one, or (a captive) that your right hands possess, that will be more suitable, to prevent you from doing injustice.

5:51 O ye who believe! take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: They are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily Allah guideth not a people unjust.

Which Jews and Christians you cannot have as friends and protectors. This is specified in Verse 5:57. Well the writer did not want you to see this. But I want you to see this. Also I have mentioned a verse that I previously mentioned to clear your mind.

5:57 O ye who believe! take not for friends and protectors those who take your religion for a mockery or sport,- whether among those who received the Scripture before you, or among those who reject Faith; but fear ye Allah, if ye have faith (indeed).

60:9 Allah only forbids you, with regard to those who fight you for (your) Faith, and drive you out of your homes, and support (others) in driving you out, from turning to them (for friendship and protection). It is such as turn to them (in these circumstances), that do wrong.

Yes , we are ordained to fight against the attackers of Islam because of what Allah promises us. But always remember that these are the cruel attackers of ISLAM and not the peaceful unbelievers for whom we need to be kind and just.

“It ill becomes the idolaters [non-Muslims] to visit the mosques of God…” (Surah 9:17)

9:17 It is not for such as join gods with Allah, to visit or maintain the mosques of Allah while they witness against their own souls to infidelity. The works of such bear no fruit: In Fire shall they dwell.
I find this very logical. How can you be in the house of Lord when you reject him. But there has been some provisions agreed by some scholars on this. Please see below.
Non-Muslims, including Christians and Jews, are allowed to enter mosques, but they should abide by the following conditions:
1- Non-Muslims are allowed to enter mosques – other than the Sacred Mosque in Makkah – with a prior permission of Muslims.
2- They must have a sound reason for entering the mosque
3- They should respect the decorum of the mosque and keep in mind that it is a sacred place of worship.
4- Both men and women are not allowed to uncover their `Awarah (parts of the body which should not be exposed in front of others) when entering the mosque.

Remember Peaceful does not mean not fighting when one is attacked. If your attacked and you fight back that does not mean you’re a terrorist.

“Prophet make war on the unbelievers and the hypocrites and deal rigorously with them. Hell shall be their home.” (Surah 9:73)

Just look at the verse below. The above says make war where the website is trying to give the impression that a war should be initiated against all the disbelievers and the hypocrites . We very well know now that the Quran says don’t attack them first . Also the word strive has been strive has been used rather than war which is misleading We know what sort of disbelievers is referred to , here.

9:73 O you prophet, strive against the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and be stern in dealing with them. Their destiny is Hell; what a miserable abode!

2:190 “Fight for the sake of God those that fight against you, but do not attack them first. God does not love the aggressors

60:9 Allah only forbids you, with regard to those who fight you for (your) Faith, and drive you out of your homes, and support (others) in driving you out, from turning to them (for friendship and protection). It is such as turn to them (in these circumstances), that do wrong.

But when will these people be rewarded for what they don’t do even though they possess the same feelings.

Islam is the only religion that address the issue of Slavery in depth and gave them their rights. Earlier and elsewhere around the world they were being used as sex objects. But in Islam having sexual intercourse with slaves is permitted but along with it comes the responsibility. Islam established certain rights due to a female slave after she had given birth to her master's child, namely, that she would not be categorized as a slave anymore. Rather, she would be elevated to the status of mother of a free child, which gave her the privilege of being freed once the father of her child died. Islam stresses more on actually freeing the slave rather than maintaining them as salves.
During the early Islamic stages slavery was not questioned by the Non Muslims because it was something that was spread all across the society. Today it’s a issue because it does not fit the present culture. Well Islam was sent for the whole of humanity and for all generations. So it needed to address the early generation as well.
Remember that one should not compare the slaves with prostitutes who sell themselves for money. A slave is One bound in servitude as the property of a person and abjectly subservient as to a specified person. One who has no one and no place to stay. One who has no one to fall on to. If you want to read a translation that is considered to be very good , then read the translation of Abdullah Yusuf Ali’s English version since N.J. Danwood’s translation of the Quran , named “Koran” is a translation which according to the general consensus of the scholars have many mistakes. So the accusation is that we Muslims should not have relationships with Non-Muslims. Please don’t get this wrong. If you go to these anti Islamic websites they would mention this and give their own interpretation saying that we Muslims should not associate with Non Muslims. They would ignore the Quran verses which would give the reader the clear true picture.

Say a Non-Muslim (for that matter even a Muslim) calls me for a party which serves Alcohol, pork , dancing. These things our prohibited in Islam. Now if I ignore these prohibitions and go to this party just to satisfy that Non-Muslim, well this cannot be accepted. So you get it. We cannot be Compromising with non Muslims and being nice to them at the expense of one’s religion. We cannot tie knots with Non-Muslims at the expense of Islam. 3:184 Then if they reject thee, so were rejected apostles before thee, who came with Clear Signs, Books of dark prophecies, and the Book of Enlightenment.

Let’s first agree that speaking about something that does not exist in the modern world is troubling our minds with things that are not socially constructive or needed nowadays.
Speaking about slavery in this era of technology seems to be off the track or outdated, simply because we have so many other issues that represent a real challenge for Muslims and non-Muslims. Drugs, family stability, domestic violence, child abuse, world peace are nothing but a few in the long list.
You ask how sex with slaves was viewed and why, and what was the outcome of this relation.
Basically, Islam came while slavery was an inherited tradition, very deep-rooted in the heart of the Arab society. Children born from a relation between a master and his slave woman were not recognized as free children. On the contrary, they were to follow the hard track of their mothers and lead a tough life of slavery and humiliation.
The very well-known Arab poet `Antarah from the tribe of Banu `Abs is an embodiment of this epic of struggle for freedom. `Antarah was the son of a member of `Abs tribe and of an African slave. The tribe neglected him as an illegitimate son or slave. But `Antarah’s personal qualities and courage gained him attention and respect. He also excelled as a great poet and a mighty fighter. When the `Abs needed him to protect them against another tribe, his father, Shaddad, acknowledged him as his son, and granted him freedom.
A master had the right to have sexual relations with his slave woman with no rights due to her. Such a relation was not socially frowned upon because it was normal in that society, but what was really awful is that the slave woman had no rights, making her simply a sex object.
Since Islam came to liberate people from the chains of being socially neglected or humiliated, Islam said that such a relationship must have certain rights. It must mark a change in the life of that slave woman and the outcome of the relation, namely the child. The child was considered free and recognized as the child of the master and no more his slave.
As for the slave woman, such a relationship meant an end to her life as a slave, for she would not be the slave of anyone after her master, the father of her child. That is, she could not be sold to anyone else, and she would be manumitted at her master’s death. This is a unique solution Islam offered to such a miserable life, and imagine what a great change it brought and how many smiles it drew on the faces of many of these agonized slaves.
When Islam came, slavery existed, no doubt about it. And when Islam wanted to ban it, it brought logical and practical solutions for that problem. Many people had their businesses based on trading in slaves and many people were already in the bondage of slavery under their masters at that time.
Let us suppose that Islam had said, overnight, “no more slavery,” what would have happened? Many people would have lost their businesses and gone bankrupt, and the economic stability of the society would have been jeopardized. Worse still, many slaves would have found themselves in the street with no shelter or ability to establish a new life.
There would have been as much chaos and lingering social and racial tensions as occurred when Abraham Lincoln banned slavery. We can still see the social and racial tensions that exist in America today.
Therefore, Islam wanted to bring slavery to an end and drain its sources but in a way that would end happily without causing disruption in the society. Islam started by limiting the sources of acquiring slaves. It prohibited raiding caravans and settled people, and kidnapping and enslaving their women and children. It highly valued the manumission of slaves, and made the freeing of slaves one way of coming nearer to Allah.
Islam made the penance for committing certain religious offenses the liberation of a slave. And above all, it established a fresh concept and obligated people to accept it, namely al-mukatabah or a contract in which a slave could pay the price of his or her freedom and get it upon the completion of installments. Islam obligated the masters to accept their slaves’ initiation of such a contract.
Furthermore, Islam established certain rights due to a female slave after she had given birth to her master’s child, namely, that she would not be categorized as a slave anymore. Rather, she would be elevated to the status of umm walad or mother of a free child, which gave her the privilege of being freed once the father of her child died. Basically, her remaining as umm walad did not really mean she was staying as a slave; rather, she was honored and respected.
Coming to the point of considering a sexual relationship with a female slave as zina (fornication or adultery), I would like to say that it was never considered so for several reasons:
1. A female slave was under the right hand of her master and he was allowed to sleep only with whoever was under his ownership. This was considered like an indirect or special wedlock.
2. The relationship itself was within boundaries and involved rights and responsibilities like the issue of umm al-walad and the freedom of the child, for example. This meant that it was, by no means, similar to adultery, which incurs no rights and establishes no responsibilities. In adultery, any passerby can sleep with a woman and just flee without taking any responsibility for any resulting child or for the woman, which is obviously not the case here.
One remaining point here is that masters did not have to sleep with their female slaves. It was something allowable but not obligatory. Yet it presented, to some extent and in certain times, one glowing way to freedom for many people who suffered slavery.
Also, the Prophet’s mission was not to eradicate slavery, but to establish rights and bring people to the point of being able to eradicate it from their own hearts first before they eradicated it from society. No one can deny that it happened ideally and practically.

“Believers, do not approach your prayers when you are drunk, but wait till you can grasp the meaning of your words…” (Surah 4:43)

The above verses mentioned says not to pray while you have been drunk. So that does not mean you can drink at other times because drinking is prohibited in Islam( Surah 2 :219 ). If that is the issue here !!! I don’t see any other issue. Please let me know if you do.

4:43 O ye who believe! Approach not prayers with a mind befogged, until ye can understand all that ye say,- nor in a state of ceremonial impurity (Except when travelling on the road), until after washing your whole body. For Allah doth blot out sins and forgive again and again.

Again this verse has been quoted in isolation to mislead the public. Please look at all the verses and judge for yourself. These verses are in context of a War. Don’t think how come such a holy book talks about war and killing. killing and war has been part of humanity since the start. This was the case even in the establishment of Islam and ALLAH addresses this in the Quran.

Islam permits polygamy. It’s not an obligation , a recommendation it’s an option. Though it may not go in line of the present cultural trends , our Lord All wise , has set it out due to various reasons. By nature the average lifespan of a female is more than the male. Even during the pediatric age the female child has more immunity than a male child. Also around the world males die from unnatural causes (war, fights ,etc) and hence you find more females than males in the world.

Today , though some people don’t get married to more than one , they have many mistresses whom they use as sex objects. These mistresses(& children) have no legal right over them. They are merely used as sex objects.

Only Islam has the solution for the above problem. But Allah recognizes that it’s difficult to be absolutely impartial. This impartiality is on the division of love among the wives. Striking a balance on this is beyond human capacity. Rather the equal treatment expected is on the rights of the wives and any injustice deliberately exhibited is punishable . That’s why you would not find people practicing polygamy because with it comes great responsibilities. That’s why the Quran says in

4:3 If ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly with the orphans, Marry women of your choice, Two or three or four; but if ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one, or (a captive) that your right hands possess, that will be more suitable, to prevent you from doing injustice.

5:51 O ye who believe! take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: They are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily Allah guideth not a people unjust.

Which Jews and Christians you cannot have as friends and protectors. This is specified in Verse 5:57. Well the writer did not want you to see this. But I want you to see this. Also I have mentioned a verse that I previously mentioned to clear your mind.

5:57 O ye who believe! take not for friends and protectors those who take your religion for a mockery or sport,- whether among those who received the Scripture before you, or among those who reject Faith; but fear ye Allah, if ye have faith (indeed).

60:9 Allah only forbids you, with regard to those who fight you for (your) Faith, and drive you out of your homes, and support (others) in driving you out, from turning to them (for friendship and protection). It is such as turn to them (in these circumstances), that do wrong.

9:17 It is not for such as join gods with Allah, to visit or maintain the mosques of Allah while they witness against their own souls to infidelity. The works of such bear no fruit: In Fire shall they dwell.
I find this very logical. How can you be in the house of Lord when you reject him. But there has been some provisions agreed by some scholars on this. Please see below.
Non-Muslims, including Christians and Jews, are allowed to enter mosques, but they should abide by the following conditions:
1- Non-Muslims are allowed to enter mosques – other than the Sacred Mosque in Makkah – with a prior permission of Muslims.
2- They must have a sound reason for entering the mosque
3- They should respect the decorum of the mosque and keep in mind that it is a sacred place of worship.
4- Both men and women are not allowed to uncover their `Awarah (parts of the body which should not be exposed in front of others) when entering the mosque.

9:73 O you prophet, strive against the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and be stern in dealing with them. Their destiny is Hell; what a miserable abode!

3:15 Say: Shall I give you glad tidings of things Far better than those? For the righteous are Gardens in nearness to their Lord, with rivers flowing beneath; therein is their eternal home; with companions pure (and holy); and the good pleasure of Allah. For in Allah's sight are (all) His servants,-

Allah says keep away from certain things in this world and Allah has created separate pure companions for you as reward in the hereafter. I mean think about it. There are people whose sexual life is of fullest satisfaction with the association of many partners(Legal partners, mistresses, prostitutes ) . But there are people who bottle their feelings for the sake of Allah. Even if their unmarried they do not go to brothels or have any sexual relationship with anyone because they fear Allah. But when will these people be rewarded for what they don’t do even though they possess the same feelings.

Allah has forbidden these things for very good reason because it goes against humanity and it creates nothing but trouble in this world.

“You shall not force your slave-girls into prostitution in order that you make money, if they wish to preserve their chastity.” (Surah 24:33-)

24 :33 "Let those who find not the wherewithal for marriage keep themselves chaste, until God gives them means out of His grace. And if any of your slaves ask for a deed in writing (to enable them to earn their freedom for a certain sum), give them such a deed if ye know any good in them: yea, give them something yourselves out of the means which God has given to you. Islam is the only religion that address the issue of Slavery in depth and gave them their rights. Earlier and elsewhere around the world they were being used as sex objects. But in Islam having sexual intercourse with slaves is permitted but along with it comes the responsibility. Islam established certain rights due to a female slave after she had given birth to her master's child, namely, that she would not be categorized as a slave anymore. Islam stresses more on actually freeing the slave rather than maintaining them as salves.
During the early Islamic stages slavery was not questioned by the Non Muslims because it was something that was spread all across the society. Today it’s a issue because it does not fit the present culture. Well Islam was sent for the whole of humanity and for all generations. So it needed to address the early generation as well.
Remember that one should not compare the slaves with prostitutes who sell themselves for money. A slave is One bound in servitude as the property of a person and abjectly subservient as to a specified person. One who has no one and no place to stay. One who has no one to fall on to. So they are not the present day servants .

[9:12] If they violate their oaths after pledging to keep their covenants, and attack your religion, you may fight the leaders of paganism – you are no longer bound by your covenant with them – that they may refrain.
[9:13] Would you not fight people who violated their treaties, tried to banish the messenger, and they are the ones who started the war in the first place? Are you afraid of them? GOD is the One you are supposed to fear, if you are believers.

“…make war on the leaders of unbelief…Make war on them: God will chastise them at your hands and humble them. He will grant you victory over them…” (Surah 9:12-)

Again , these relate to the unbelievers who are the attackers of Islam.
