Video: Illegal immigration debate heats up in virginia

Do you like this story?

This time it’s Linda Chavez, the Chairman of a federal civil rights panel, sparring with the County Supervisor Chairman Corey A. Stewart over the recent crackdown on illegal immigrants approved by the board.

It’s amazing how illegal immigration apologists refuse to see the difference between “illegal” and “immigrant” when trying to debate. The argument always gets pushed into a corner of “anti-immigrant” rather than “anti-illegal-immigrant”.

They show no respect to those families who have waited years trying to become citizens who have taken the legal route to becoming a member of this country. Linda Chavez is an apologist for anyone who wants to come into this country illegally. Her condescending, beaurocratic nature in this video shows exactly where she stands. It’s really quite sickening.

Has America lost all sense of nationality? It’s almost like it means nothing to be an American, and as long as you get here safely, you can stay, and no politician can tell you to leave, otherwise they are racist bigots if they try.

It seems like people on all levels of government, even up to the white house, have lost what it means to be an American and have lost all sense of sovereignty and national identity.

No, what is “amazing” is how naive and ill-informed those in the “No Amnesty” crowd truly are. They continue to believe it’s all about “legal” vs “illegal” and completely disregard the fact that the organizations behind the “No Amnesty” movement, particularly the Center for Immigration Studies, FAIR, and NumbersUSA, are ALL in favor of reducing the overall number of immigrants in this country. It says it right there in their mission statements. These groups do not care whether the immigrants are legal or illegal, they just want less of them in this country.

And to think the idiot who wrote this blog actually believes it’s all about “rule of law” and “legal vs illegal.” Do some research my friend, you’ll be better off and you’ll end up spewing less of your pitiful ignorance.

By trying to convince us that everyone who wants to enforce the immigration laws of this country are trying to “reduce the total amount of legal immigrants” is totally absurd. It has everything to do with the rule of law and respecting those who are trying to get into this country legally.

pitiful ignorance? wow look in the mirror…

I like how so many of your comments tend to be from those challenging your thought-sounds like you are doing something right! I totally agree with this post, its an honor to be an American and too many people take it for granted.
