A Sick Pup

So you all know my posting has been slow for the last couple days.  I’ve been in Chicago visiting family, seeing the sites, and taking a little R & R.  I’ve also been dealing with a slight family crisis.  Our 6 month old Yorkie pup, Brewster, came down with a bad case of Pancreatitis, hasn’t kept food or water down in 4 days, and is surviving on IV fluids trying to fend off any sustained infection.  It’s been rather nerve racking for us since we’re 2000 miles away, but thank God he is in good hands with our family and our awesome vet.  The good news is he’s on the road to recovery and should be fine in a few days.  Keep him in your prayers, he’s such a joy in our life.
