The average Shia Muslim wants to feed his family but grows up in a society filled with ugly politics and Shia Muslims are prone to this politics more than others and that is why I have not muc respect for Shi'ite philosophy. As a Sunni, and a Sinast to measure, Shi'ite ideology for me has two major flaws. The first one is the belief of Imam-ship, that there has to be some leader and that he is as close to perfect as possible. Sunni's are not supposed to accept that as even Prophets were not “perfect” but men, perfection belongs alone to God. Thus the power of an Ayatollah and so-called spiritual leaders is much more significant and that is a factor of why the Iranian Revolution became turned into a personality cult. The second issue with Shi”ites for me is that personality cults is that in the end the personalty and even his image becomes more important than the faith itself. Thus you have inside Shi'ite mosques posters or paintings of the so-called 12 imams and even the current Supreme Leader and the father of the revolution Khomenei. A sunni is forbidden to pray in a mosque were he can see any image and even images of Mohammed are not accepted as the concept of prayer is for God alone, not even his Prophets.

Though the average Shia Muslim believes in and wants peace, the reality is that they are the most easily pushed, propogandised and the susceptable to political ideologies that use and abuse their version of faith.

Bravo Jillia, the constant production of off spring is to swell the population, they Immigrate to a civilized country such as the UK, they can have as many children as they wish and Islam allows more than one wife, no need to feed the children yourself the British Tax Payer does that and the Government of the day 'Labour' is right behind all that just to fit in with Europe, a Policy of None Transparency allow things to be done you and I would not allow, no figures are ever published it would frighten you to death. I agree with you again on the comment of Islam being Ugly, Cruel, Backward, Violent and evil, but that's what we will have to suck up to if we do not do something very soon, Good Luck.
