Got a few things going on, won’t be back till tonight. In the meantime, here’s some anti-Jihad link fodder
- German Muslims protest against self-defense - After a Moroccan thug was stabbed to death in self-defense by a German man he was trying to rob, Muslims in Cologne took to the streets in protest. Apparently, they believe it’s their right to mug Germans, and the Germans should just accept it.
- A Handy guide to arguing with a Muslim or Dhimmi - #8 Explain that jihad means “inner struggle” (like a diet plan or giving up smoking!) and not “holy war”. Tell them that Islam says fighting can only be in self-defense. If they ask about all those raids, explain that Mohammad went on 26 self-defense expeditions, captured a lot of self-defense loot and self-defense slaves and killed a lot of people in self-defense in the early morning and night self-defense attacks. He even let his men rape women in self-defense at Banu-Mustaliq.
- Secular Turks rally against Muslim headscarf reform - Tens of thousands of secular Turks rallied on Saturday against a plan by the government to allow women students to wear the Muslim headscarf at university, a move they say will usher in a stricter form of Islam in Turkey.
- Bishop of Rochester facing Death threats - The Bishop of Rochester, Dr Michael Nazir-Ali, is under police protection after he and his family received death threats over his claim that parts of Britain had become “no-go areas” for non-Muslims.
- What oppresses Muslims? Everything apparently - Oppression, as Islam sees it, can be defined as any obstacle or impediment which prevents the implementation of Islamic rule on Earth, which is the only final outcome acceptable to Allah. Any infidel failing to respond positively to the da’wa, ( the call or invitation to Islam) whether by outright rejection, disinclination or indifference, is considered to be not only oppressing Muslims– by rejecting the mission they are duty-bound to carry out— but more seriously, insulting Allah by impeding and thwarting his divine plan for humanity.
- Hamas considering economic disengagement from Israel - In interview with London paper, senior advisor to Hamas leader states that organization seeks economic unity with Egypt, which would supply Gaza with fuel, electricity
