Liberal Fascism hits #1 on NY Times Best Sellers

Congratulation to Jonah Goldberg for now making number one on the New York Times bestseller list with his book Liberal Fascism. The great thing is now the New York Times will have in it the phrase “Liberal Fascism” in bold.

It’s an excellent read. I couldn’t wait for it to come out, and I’m almost done with it now. It’s a bit shaky in a couple of parts, but overall, it’s irreproachable research and compelling writing. I work in the venerable halls of academe, and it’s great to have some factual cold water to throw onto the heated rhetoric of the quasi-socialist doctrinaires who love to call anyone who disagrees with them “fascist,” “Nazi,” etc. (after which they go cash their fat capitalist paychecks).
