NO!!!! You can’t have St. Louis! The Cardinals stay there, Budweiser beer was born there and that is where the greatest expedition in the history of the United States started out- Manifest Destiny my friends! NO ISLAM!!!

  • Kal

I wonder if they would get offended if I set up a tailgate party nearby during Ramadan and sold sausages, kielbasa, ham sandwiches, and beer.

  • jennyjen

hahaha! LMAO! Don’t forget the smoked pork tenderloin!

  • anduarto

Funny how one minaret makes you all start squealing like a stuck hog.

Believe it or not, they have freedom of religion in St. Louis just like we have in rest of the country. I’m sure the members of this mosque would tolerate your fat ass hick tailgate party just like they tolerate the christian churches and cathedrals that sit on every other corner. Hell, St. Louis even has a synagogue or two. But I wouldn’t expect you to know that. You’re clearly too busy worshipping at the temple of the lard ass pig.

Don’t know whether you folks are christians or atheists but you’re an embarrassment to either tradition. I’m sure all thoughtful moslems, christians and jews who read this are all uniting in pray for your frightened, threatened, shriveled little souls. Remember to wipe the juice off your chin when you come up for air.

  • Kal

    anduarto,
I believe you meant to imply that all who read this are uniting in PRAYER for our frightened, threatened, shriveled little souls. Next time you want to look clever with an insult, try PROOFREADING. I hear Office 2007 has a great spellcheck included.

Yes, we do have freedom of religion, to include freedom from religion if we so choose. That means we are free to not have to listen to a chant to the ancient pan-arab moon god Allah 5 times a day, starting at 3:30AM every day.

It is not the minaret that makes us ‘squeal’. It is the hate taught at mosques all over, calling Jews, Christians, and all infidels the sons of apes and pigs, saying it is acceptable to slay us in the name of allah. FYI that mosque is dedicated to worshipping allah. Got that, professor? While a lot of churches teach that if you do not worship the way they do you are going to hell, I find it extremely difficult recalling the last time I heard about a Christian going off and killing a bunch of people while shouting “Jesus is Lord!” as we so often do with muslims. Only they chant ‘Allahu akbar’ while doing it. There is a mosque in Brooklyn, its members took a vacationing journalist and tied him to a chair in their basement, just for taking pictures of the architecture of the mosque. Are you sure you want to allow even the CHANCE of that coming to St Louis?

  • anduarto

You’re right. I left out the “er” in “prayer”. Clearly it negates my whole argument.

Just for the record, there aren’t any loudspeakers in the particular minaret in question. And the mosque never intended for there to be. The neighborhood and the mosque seem to be getting along fine. I’ll check my spelling if you check your facts.

My understanding is that they don’t do the call to prayer at all. Of course, I haven’t stood out in the street and listened all day, so I could be mistaken.

Interesting point though, when I was a kid the church in my neighborhood used to ring the Angelus three times a day. Does that get you going? And didn’t people harbor similar fears about a “Catholic agenda” a few generations ago?

Despising, fearing and restricting your average muslim because of the beliefs and actions of the extremists makes as much sense as despising, fearing and restricting your average christian because of the actions of a few nut jobs.

  • Kal

    anduarto,
That is great that they are not announcing the call to prayer. YET. LOL @ standing out in the street all day listening for it :) I went to St Thomas Aquinas growing up in New Hampshire, and they had the church bell ringing every hour on the hour, as well as to announce the start of Mass. They did it at 8:AM and at 9:30 AM for the second service. No one in the neighborhood minded or lodged a complaint, that I could find record of.

As for the fears of a Catholic agenda, I am sure that did not include kidnapping/beheading ops, suicide bombing, flying airliners into skyscrapers, and car-bombings…

If the average muslim does not speak out AGAINST and take action AGAINST the beliefs and actions of the radical islamists, then the average muslim is part of the problem. That is why I fear them. My girl from Lebanon put it best, when she said that not all muslims are terrorists, but all muslims stick together, the peaceful and the violent ones. I think she has a better grasp on what islam represents than you and I, she grew up during the latter half of the civil war there.

I believe the Crusader war cry was “Deus Vult!”  which means “God wills it!”.  I think I’m going to try to find a t-shirt like that to add to my collection.  I love politically incorrect Ts.  I did get one that says “I wanna be Sarah’s intern”.

I don’t understand anyone arguing against Kai, and the rest “In The Know” on this site, you are off course and very ignorant, plus it shows.  Very unbecoming, by the way!  I hate being stupid, and worse, caught at it.  :)
Yea, Tonto those T’s are a hoot!  I have one I love that says:
A HUNDRED YEARS FROM NOW,  it won’t matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove, but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child.
We need to be “making a difference, leaving our mark,” that is my goal for the fall just going into the winter of my life, of which the spring, summer, fall of life has prepared me for.  I’ve never liked winter, but I am prepared.
I am believing that is true for John McCain, and he is leading Sarah and Sarah is in step with him.  All of them are marching to a different drum of God, with us.

St. Louis, no less.  Islamic prayer tower, the devil right there in plain sight.
A debate is being held in St. Louis, what a sign of the end times. Obama #666.

  • jennyjen

haha Tonto! Awesome tee! I have one that says “If you don’t like the way I’m livin” on the front and on the back, “You can just leave this bad ass country girl alone”. My buddy’s mom has a computer program to make the iron-ons and I’m gonna get her to do me a few up that say, “John is MY HOMEBOY”.  Still can’t find one of those around here but if you go to the North side of town and enter any gas station you will find many Obamessiah tee’s. The general public is a laughing stock!
Oh, I will be attending the Reagan Day Round Up here in Jonesboro, AR on Saturday nite, Mike Huckabee was scheduled to attend but had to cancel as he was asked to do something at FOX news. We may get a live feed.

    Speakers, eh?
What's the matter, can't they get a live towelhead up there
to ululate and babble at the top of his lungs five times a day? (Or maybe
they don't have the balls to be seen creating such noise pollution in a
community which I'm sure would be just as happy without
    it???)

  • JEWHAWK

Brendan, call some of your friends and organize a 4th July BARBECUE …
    IN FRONT OF THIS MOSQUE…

    Lots of PORK and BEER…and BIKINI-CLAD GIRLS,too!

Bring your DOGS,too.Muslims HATE all of those things.

Bring a pair of loudspeakers,a pair of amplifiers and put
METALLICA to play aloud when the ragheads will be
“praying” (calling for Satan, actually) inside the Mosque.

It'd be very interesting to see all of that.Maybe Janet
Napolitano would ARREST you all, bunch of “rednecks”
    for HATE CRIME.

The muslim guy who beheaded his WIFE wasn't.

Our Constitution guarentees freedom of religion. That having been said, it was not Catholics, not Jews, not Protestents, not agnostics, not atheists who flew into the Trade Towers, the Pentegaon or were stopped in a field in Pennsylvania. It was muslims (lower case intentional throughout (lcit)). It was none of the above who killed our Soldiers at Ft. Hood; it was a muslim. ANYONE who has read the koran and the hadith, know there are only three options with islam and the “infidel”: 1. Convert. 2. Pay the “dhimmitude” (a tax but so much more!!). 3. Die. Let's say that “only” 10% of muslims are “radical”. That means about 110,000,000 want world domination and the establishment of a caliphate worldwide. Check the math. There are about 1.1 BILLION muslims around the world and the number is growing quickly, daily. If you look at islam from the view of the koran, it is the mirror image of Judeo-Christian beliefs. When Salman Rushdie wrote “Satanic Versus”, he wrote it from having come from a muslim family. The “tolerant muslims” put a price on Salman's head. Look at the Dutch cartoonist who, the last I read, was living in hiding and fear of death for cartoons about mohammed. Yet it is alright for the muslims to deface and defame Jesus. Despite what “glorious leader” says, the United States of America is STILL a Christian nation! It was founded on Judeo-Christian principles and the little sheet heads (Aside: Contrary to popular belief, they do NOT wear little diapers on their heads, they wear little sheets.) were NOT instrumental in founding, much less building, America.

This kind of reply is why you and many other pathetically misguided individuals will continue to side with the enemies of our country. One day you will wake up screaming for us to protect you and we will probably all be in jail from fighting this evil. You’ll only have yourselves to blame. Wake up and at least read what this political system stands for.

  • Craig Nichols

Yes, we do have freedom of religion in this country. That said Islam is nothing more than a hate cult, criminal enterprise, not a religion. I would guess you would welcome Charles Manson and his followers to your neighborhood also.
