I happen to know people from South Lebanon that thanked God for the Israelis…..because they didn't have to put up with palestinian thugs walking around in their villiages pushing people around. You talk a lot of smack for no reason, with no reason. You don't get it….the guy with the biggest gun wins. There is no right or wrong in war….just guns, grit and determination. Your problem is, arabs are pussies when you get to it. They just ain't got what it takes to be fierce warriors, never have and never will. Sala-al-din took Jerusalem with a 100 to 1 sized advantage and didn't have to worry about casualties….an early form of a suicide charge. Yemeni idiots to the front! Speak for yourself. "We" are not anything. SOME people are like that, but not all people. I happen to be very openminded about ALL people, even though I may not agree with what they believe or what they do.

Aren't you being a bit hypocritical here yourself? You're judging these people for JUDGING OTHER PEOPLE and doing something with that judgement. You're doing the same thing. It may not be violent or particularly important, but you're still using your judgement of those people to make other people think worse of them.

And I don't see what being hypocritical has to do with "us" being "doomed." If humanity is doomed, it's not because of hypocracy. It will be because of something far more instrumental to society than that.

The 1982 "Israeli" invasion of South Lebanon resulted in around 18 years of "Israeli" occupation of most of South Lebanon (and today still "Israel" occupies some South Lebanese territory in the form of Shebaa farms, Lebanon). However the illegal "Israeli" invasion failed and resulted in the formation and strenthening of the Shi'a Muslim freedom fighters in Lebanon. Most notably the "Israel" invasion and occupation was what helped create the Lebanese Shi'a Muslim resistance movement Hezbollah.
Most Arabs cannot comprehend the thought that Arabs and Muslims fought so bravely to cleanse Jerusalem from the Crusaders, and to give it up on a silver platter to the Israeli Jews. It should be noted that hundreds of thousands of Arabs and Muslims died battling the Christian Crusaders between the 11th-13th centuries, for the sole purpose of cleansing the Holy Land from the Crusaders. Palestinians, Arabs, and Muslims often wonder where the Zionist Jews were when the Holy Land really needed their assistance during the Crusade genocide! Was Palestine a "Promised" or "non-Promised" Land, that is the question?
It's fundamentally wrong and very misleading to blame Arafat for the outbreak of resistance against the Israeli Occupation Forces in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. Zionists often prefer to blame Arab leaders rather than tackling the core issues of the conflict, this is usually done for the purpose of buying time hoping that Palestinians would lose hope. The Oslo Agreement's fundamental flaw was that it had attempted to scratch the surface of the core issues of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, and not to necessarily solve them. Any agreement, similar to the Oslo Agreement, is destined for failure if it won't address the core issues of the conflict, such as the Palestinian Right of Return, the status of Jerusalem, water allocations, and the borders of the emerging states.

It is very possible that Palestinians and Israelis are not yet ripe for a final peace settlement, however, that is no excuse to accept any interim "peace agreement" that compromises critical Palestinian national interests. Until a fair and a just peace agreement comes up, which must address the core issues, both communities have to start educating themselves about the conflict and to hope for the best.
it is worth pointing out that Ben-Gurion (the first Israeli Prime Minister) recognized that the victory in 1948 was achieved not because the Israeli Army was more heroic but because the Arab armies were rotten and corrupt. He became obsessed with the fear that a charismatic leader would modernize Arab education, their economies, and unite all the Arab states. He wrote on November 11, 1948:

The arabs have had the choice, for the last 60 years, to either get their shit together and form a country and stop the suffering of those people that were dispossessed or….to continue to get their asses kicked by exploiting the dispossessed and to attack Israel again and again. Unfortunately for the regular people, the leaders found that fighting Israel could make them rich, even though it was at the expense of suffering for their people. You know what they did. They still haven't found a tiny bit of the money good old Yassar stashed but the Arafat family will be living in the best European accommodations that money can buy….for life. Terror and hamas have a great business going on. They scam the suffering fakestinians and keep raking in and stashing the money for their retirement. Think about it. You never see the leaders of hamas with their ass in the grass…..no. They leave the country when Israel attacks and let the troops get killed, maimed and butchered by the IDF. Hamas, Hezbullah, Al Qaida….all those assholes are cowardly scumbags that talk other idiots into dying for them, while they collect the money. For the moment, let's assume that the Palestinian people should not have a country of their own because they have never had a state, then why should the peoples of Salvador, Guatemala, Congo, Algeria, ... etc. have the right of self determination?
Since one of the fundamental tenets of the Jewish religion is that the Jews are God's Chosen People, they truly believe that they have the right to do whatever they wish to all other people (Genesis 12; 2,3). Unfortunately, Christians believe that they have inherited this "chosen-ness" from the Jews via Jesus. Thus, the non-Christian "goyim" are doomed in the eyes of the Judeo-Christian world, and are unlikely to find any sympathy from either Jews or Christians. This is truly unfortunate, because I believe that the Creator does not play favorites. Neither Jew, nor Christian, nor Muslim, nor anyone else has a special claim to the Creator's favor. We are all His children, and may He have mercy on us all for the crimes we have committed against each other in His Name.

It should be noted that none of these countries had a state prior to gaining independence, nor a distinct language or culture that set them apart from their neighboring states. In other words, even if it's true that the Palestinian people had neither a state, nor a distinct culture or language:

Is that a good reason to confiscate their homes, farms, and businesses?
Is that a good reason to block their return to their homes?
Is that a good reason to nullify their citizenship in the country in which they were born?
According to historical facts, Zionism, as an ideology, evolved in response to the rise of Europe's nationalism and anti-Semitism in the late 19th century, especially in Tsarist Russia (Pale States), France during the Dreyfus affair, and Germany after WW I.
