Saudi Honor killing: Father shoots daughter for using facebook

A young Saudi Arabian woman was murdered by her father for chatting on the social network site Facebook, it has emerged.

The unnamed woman from Riyadh was beaten and shot after she was discovered in the middle of an online conversation with a man, the al-Arabiya website reported.

Saudi preacher Ali al-Maliki has emerged as the leading critic of Facebook, claiming the network is corrupting the youth of the nation.

“Facebook is a door to lust and young women and men are spending more on their mobile phones and the Internet than they are spending on food,” he said.

Critics also allege that Facebook is an avenue for the promotion of homosexual relations in Saudi Arabia. More than 6,500 people have signed the online petition in a bid to stop the conservative Muslim kingdom following Syria in banning access to the network from local internet servers.

    I hope this is a one-off and not a new trigger to dishonor killing.

    It’s just like I told ender on another post. I see all kinds of Muslims on Facebook, on an application called Yoville. They are running around trying to hook up and trying to pick up anyone of the opposite sex. I’m a 53 year old woman, and have had as many Muslim male avatars make rude sexual advances to me as any other religion or nationality. Lots of girls and guys trying to have on line sexual relations. I got so disgusted that I totally quit chatting and only use it to play decorater with my apartment and chat with a few friends.  I wondered when there would be something like this that happened. Really sad!

       Save it, Mohammad was a terrorist himself and it does not ever matter. Because the bottom line is that Muslims are causing the problems.
    Did it ever cross your mind that American citizens do not care for our governments relationship with the Saudis?

    There is nothing for non-Muslims  to like about Islam and exposing the hate of Islam is not hate.

    life meaning is ignored in the muslim world;

    HONOR KILLINGS:

    Islamic tradition of having its women KILLED for very little reason makes
    all of us wonder what kind of treatment they've got in store for us,infidels,should Islam be successful in its bid to conquer the Western Civilization.

    Women's Rights will be ABOLISHED once and for all.I'm not talking about their
    right to vote,only.Their PRIVACY will be invaded,their sexual life INTERRUPTED.
    They'll be forced to marry a complete stranger,or else.

    Islam is nothing but a MALIGNANT TUMOR,growing without control,INFECTING
    the World's body.
