Jimmy Carter: I’ve seen this kind of preaching my whole life

by Infidelesto on April 29, 2008 · Comments

Referring to the hateful black-liberation, anti-American preaching by Jeremiah Wright.

Carter lumps all black churches together as Wright has done in previous speeches and then goes on to say that racism is still a huge issue in this country…

note to Jimmy: It’s a huge deal because “wack-a-doodle’s” like you and Jeremiah Wright will do/say anything you can to KEEP racism on the minds of Americans no matter what generation they live in. How are we ever going to move on from racism in this country when you have people like Rev Wright, Jimmy Carter, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton who ASSUME racism from all white men rather than giving them the benefit of the doubt.

Notice when King asks: “Is racism still an issue in this country” what he really means is “Are white people still racist?”

Jimmy Carter says: ” I think so”

I live in the South and we are not racist (most of us are working class trying to make ends meet), we are true to the stars and bars and Confederate flags fly from peoples homes but it is not because we are racist. My flag represents the states rights to make their own laws instead of being strictly governed by a federal government. I wish more people knew the truth of the civil war, Fact: Abe Lincoln did not want to free the slaves, it was political propaganda to promote an uprising of black men to fight for the Union Army (to keep the rich white kids of the battlefield) and he was lucky it worked. Slavery is a horrible thing and it is part of our past, same as racism...this horse has been officially beat to death!
