Wow…just listen.

Then read Ed Morrissey’s response.

Wow. Where to begin with this silliness? – Hotair

Obama speaking at an Oregon rally yesterday:

“We shouldn’t be… You know, Iran they spend one one-hundreth of what we spend on the military. I mean if Iran tried to pose a serious threat to us, they wouldn’t stand a chance. And we should use that position of strength that we have to be bold enough to go ahead and listen. That doesn’t mean we agree with them on everything. That doesn’t, we might not compromise with them on any issues. But, at least we should find out are there areas of potential common interest and we can reduce some of the tension that have caused us so many problems around the world.”

I thought we won the Cold War by forcing Moscow to run themselves bankrupt causing the economic collapse of the USSR? Not by “looking for common interest” with the Soviets to find some common ground on which to agree upon to reduce the nuclear tension around the globe.

Do the democrats even listen to their own candidate anymore or are they just in the background chanting “yes we can” and not hearing a word this guy is saying?

Perhaps the most ominous problem is that they ARE listening and that they, in fact, DO wholeheartedly (at least, whole-emotionally) believe, “Yes we can…turn this country into the Workers’ Paradise…”
