Video: “Jerusalem belongs to the Jews…Period!”

mordechai kedar

Finally an Israeli with some guts to stand up and stick it to Al-Jazeera.  . This is an interview with Dr. Mordechai Kedar, a lecturer from Bar Ilan University’s Department of Arabic Studies who states unequivocally that Jerusalem belongs to the Jewish people.

If only more hawks like this could get some airtime within the Arab media.

Ynet

Kedar: “To tell you the truth I don’t quite understand this. Must Israel ask permission from some other authority in the world? It has been our capital for 3,000 years. We have been there since the time your forefathers used to drink wine, bury their daughters alive, and pray to multiple gods.”

Keidar was referring to a period Arabs call Jahiliyyah (ignorance of divine guidance), which prevailed in the Arab world before the time of the Islam. “So then,” he continued, “why must we speak about this? It has been our city for 3,000 years and will be for eternity.”

The stunned Rayyan refused to give up. “Excuse me Mr. Mordechai! If you would like to speak about history let’s talk about the Kuran as well. You cannot deny the existence of Jerusalem in the Kuran! I ask you to refrain from making statements that offend Arabs and Muslims. Let’s please stay with our topic,” he said.

Jerusalem is not mentioned in the Kuran,” Keidar said.

Rayyan stated the verse that, according to Muslim belief, refers to Jerusalem, but Keidar continued to object. “Jerusalem is not mentioned in the Kuran even once.

Rayyan continued: “Let’s talk politics, please. Doesn’t this decision oppose the Road Map, which determines that Israel will halt construction of the settlements in Jerusalem?“The Road Map does not mention Jerusalem,” Keidar argued. “Jerusalem is outside of negotiations. Jerusalem belongs to the Jews, Period! We cannot discuss Jerusalem in any way. You return to this issue time and again, but Jerusalem is not referred to in the Road Map. My brother, go and read the Road Map.”

  • Dr. Mordechai Kedar is correct. The Jews were around thousands of years before the followers of pedophile Muhammad came on the scene. A person can't depend on the filthy Qur'an. The Qur'an was dictated by the biggest liar ever known to mankind, none other than the child molester Muhammad.

Let us not forget that the filthy Muslim Taqiyya exhorts the Muslims to lie whenever it benefits them. So why believe a Muslim every time he opens his mouth? As Christians and Jews, we cannot allow the lying Muslims to get away with murder.
  • The state of Israel was created in 1948. Therefore, Israel, as a legal entity, does not have the right to claims going back before its conception.

The UN resolutions 181 of Nov. 29, 1947, created the conditions for the Partition of Palestine and the future state of Israel. It clearly establishes the status of Jerusalem as being NOT part of Israel.

Since then, a number of UN resolutions referred to the status of Jerusalem and called on Israel to stop attempts to overwrite the original Partition of Palestine (UNSC Res. 242, 252, 267, 298, 446, 452, and on.. as well as UNGA Resolutions 2253, 2254, A/32/5, A/61/26, A/61/25, A/C.2/63/L.5 - just to name a few).

Historical claims are slippery - just try to imagine what would happen, if all historical claims were to be granted all over the world. Pure chaos and nonsense.

However, re-writing the law that we have today, seems a bit rediculous. Unless Israel thinks that it is above the law...

I love how after he brings up that Jerusalem isn't in the Koran, instead of trying to prove him wrong Rayyan just changes the subject.
  • Konstantinos
Well, Greeks used to live and own the coastal side of minor asia for more than 3000 years as well as Constantinople (istanbul). However, these areas are not hellenic (greek) any more... Therefore, the fact that jews used to live in the area for 3000 years doesn't say much to a Greek. Same with the american indians and with so many other nations. It's called history and justice doesn't mean to go back in time.
  • Phil
Ok, Konstantinos, so... what you are saying is that Dr. Kedar's theory of original land ownership is invalid. So, I guess the current occupiers of the land should be the rightful... oh, wait. That's also the Jews. Your argument was... what, exactly? The only legitimate claim that the Arabs have to the land that is Israel is that once upon a time they violently conquered it (well, so did the Babylonians, the Romans, and the Persians, but that is a different discussion). Furthermore, the Jews never conquered any Arabs in Israel. The 1948 war was precipitated after the British, who were part of the allies that defeated the Ottoman Turks, granted the land to the Jews. The land they gave the Jews, by the way, was only 10% of what they originally promised. The original British "Palestine Mandate" said that all of Israel, the West Bank, Gaza, and Jordan all were to be given to the Jews. The Arabs who fled, not were made to leave, did so on the attacking Arab nations' promise that when these nations eradicated the Jewish state, they would get MORE land than they had before. The descendants of those that didn't leave are now called Arab Israeli citizens. Those that left, well... I like to call them, BAD GAMBLERS. They tried to play double or nothing with their lands, and are now mad that the outcome was "nothing". Justice is that the nations that surround Israel have attacked or moved to attack her unprovoked in 1948, 1967, 1973, 2001 and 2006. The most important point we can take from Dr. Kedar's statements is that Jerusalem and the Temple Mount are holy Jewish sites, they are not holy Arab sites, and that the Al-Aqsa Mosque is a quintessential conquest temple, and is such is completely illegitimate and should be bulldozed immediately. If Israel had any real leaders with spine, they would demand back their Temple Mount now, and threaten to nuke Mecca if they don't get it. Well, if they have nukes... Maybe Konstantinos is upset because some historical evidence indicates that the "Philistines" that the Jews did conquer in ancient times were Greek!
  • Konstantinos
Hello Phil, thanks for your reply and no I am not upset at all. I would be very upset if I were a jew or a Palestinian though.

I'll start by commenting on your last argument. Definitely Greeks were part of the "people of the sea" and “Philistines” were part of the "people of the sea" also. Some scholars argue that actually the Philistines were one of the many greek tribes and more specifically they came from the Mycenaean Aegean. However, this can be strongly debated and there are many gaps in this relation. I am not standing here, and I need to clarify that this blurry part of the history has nothing to do with my thesis on our topic. It's rediculous. Greeks feel they have no connection at all with arabs (or with anyone). Period.

Now on our topic. I feel that I should support both sides and I am confused by the fact that it seems that there can be no peaceful solution. From my very humble point of view it should be done something similar like between Turkey and Greece in 1922. And that is massive exchange of population (for once more). 3000+ years of continuous hellenic presence in asia minor came to its end and finally peace prevailed. (Even though the greatest and holiest temple for Greeks, the centre of orthodox christianity for a thousand years, Agia Sophia just recently became a museum from a mosque that it was turned to. Imagine to have to pay the arabs to visit your holiest temple and many other sacred sites.) In addition, due to the demographic explosion of the arabs the future doesn't look too good for the jews. Sooner or later jews will have either to massively exterminate people or to give away some land if they don't act now.

Don't get me wrong, I feel that the jewish people more than anyone deserve to live there and flourish. However, I can't support violence.

    What is with Islam?

It's an equal opportunity hater of everyone, Infidel or Muslim.
It hates women. It hates the old. It hates children. It hates the disabled. It loves death (suicide bombing) It loves murder (kill non muslims) It even loves to kill its own: Shiites kill Sunis. Sunis kill Shiites. 'Holier Muslims' love to kill non holier muslims.

If psychiatry could have ever developed in the Islamic world, I'm sure a person with such beliefs would be considered seriously ill and a threat to himself, to his own family, to his neighbours, and strangers whether muslim or not. Such a person would be confined in an asylum for the criminally insane.

I'm amazed how a belief system like Islam could have ever been carried forward into successive generations who would be its future victims.

I'm amazed how belief system like Islam could ever take itself seriously where no original science could ever take root. Why? Because original thought is viewed as heresy by Islam.

Oh, Muslim people are intelligent enough, shrewed enough, but their inventions are technical developments based on original science developed in the West. Now, why is that? Why can't you Muslims go and develop something original? Because your belief system suppresses originality, exploration and discovery. In a word, it suppresses Freedom. So, how can you possibly discover anything new if your minds are jailed from the inside out.

I can see why lying is so essential to Islam. The humiliation of being left behind by 'free infidels' to discover new technical marvels dictates that Islam must appropriate these inventions as its own either by war, stealth or lies. This way, there needs to be no admission to one's Islamic self that the belief system denies
discovery, and therefore the faulty belief system is never assailed as the real barrier to truly original innovation.

That's ok. Hold onto your faulty belief systems. Let these systems keep you ignorant. This way, you will never achieve what you claim yourselves to be: Superior to Infidels.

In fact, infidels will always be ahead of you in the sciences
since infidels are free to thinks of new realities, where as you are confined to a single reality that tolerates no competing possibilities.

As for your inclination to kill anything that breathes. That will pass in time. How long do you believe infidels will tolerate your intolerance and violence toward non Muslims?

In the grand scheme of the universe itself, nature always finds a balance. Translation: You reap what you sow.

I agree with coment no 1. Mohammed was a sick scum bag who manipulated common ground in other people (visions/dreams) and existing ideas (e.g. Jesus) to get what he wants. How does it feel Muslims, to still be living a lie from the mouth of and old manipulative pervert.
  • ASHLEY
the only ignorant people are the one's making comments on something they obviously know nothing about.  If you wanna talk about islam, maybe you should study it before you open your mouth and have something to back up what you are saying, which in the case that you did do that, you wouldnt have anything to back it up, and perhaps your views on islam would change.
  • Kal_El
Ashley, Speak for yourself. I live in the middle east, and have for the past 5 years. I have looked the lion in the face. Let's talk about islam then. My views on islam DID change after being here. I used to believe the lie that islam is a religion of peace. Then I opened my eyes. I started reading. I learned some Arabic. Got a few lessons from 'peaceful/tolerant' muslims who want to take my head a la Highlander, for speaking my opinion. And they are muslims living in the UK and the US. Are you a college student who took a class taught by a guy who read a book on islam by an author who is not muslim? What do you have to back up your claim that any of the comments here are ignorant?
  • jennyjen
I kinda get why Muslims are so pissed now! If every scholar/cleric of my religion looked like a fool in the face of reason and logic- I'd be a little pissed too hahaha! That combined with all their sexual frustration makes for some angry little jihaders!
  • ASHLEY
Kal, I have never lived in the middle east myself, but I do watch the news, although the news isn't always as it seems, but there are people who claim to be muslim, but don't act as one to the fullest. Islam is a religion that must be followed 100% to accomplish peace and in most cases I'm sure it isn't but all we can blame is the people. Some people are confused, and don't understand the true message, but we cannot blame islam itself. There are many scholars who devote their lives to studying Islam and the Quran, but if you were to read the Quran just once, you might not get the real message and the true meaning, there are words in there that we still do not understand. Lets say you hear on the news, a muslim man killed someone, to kill an innocent person, is like killing all of humanity. It is not right, but people are not perfect and because a muslim person isnt perfect and did something wrong, it doesn't mean that  Islam is wrong.
  • Kal_El
Ashley, I have been in forums and chatrooms where people plot kidnappings and killings, and quote suras to justify it.  I frequently get into discussions with rabid muslims absolutely convinced that the quran TELLS THEM TO KILL INFIDELS, and they are reinforced in their beliefs by clerics like Khameini, Nasrallah, al-Sadr and far too many for me to list here. You say they are the ones who are confused? They are students of madrassas in Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Indonesia, funded by Saudi Arabia - the birthplace of islam - who have been taught the hadiths (the words/deeds of Muhammad). I take their word about what islam is over yours, since you admit you have never set foot in their yard. Who are you to tell muslims they got the message wrong? They would kill you if you said that to them(NOT a threat, just the barbaric reality).

You watch the news? That pretty much invalidates any claim you have to superior knowledge over any of  the people who commented here. The media is whitewashing the truth, because the politically correct imbeciles refuse to identify an enemy that has no problem calling us kuffars (infidels), sons of apes and pigs, and the great satan. The leftists think they can appease and that the jihadists will play nice. Ever been bullied as a kid? What happened when you tried to talk to the bully and asked him/her to stop beating on you? I know when I tried it I got my ass kicked even worse. But when I hit him first, and made him bleed, he stopped bothering me. Islam is the bully.

Notice that when a cartoon of Muhammad was published, muslims rioted, called for the death of the cartoonists, and forced them to live in seclusion with armed guards. Yet when some imbecile made an 'art' exhibit of a cross submerged in urine, no one called for his head. You make a pretty flawed statement about islam being a religion that must be followed 100% to achieve peace. Following islam 100% is anything but peaceful. When they cannot get their paws on a kuffar, they kill each other. Look at Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Lebanon, and Saudi. When was the last time you heard someone cut another human being's head off and shout "IN JESUS' NAME!", or "L'CHAIM!/SHALOM!"? The people you say claim to be muslim but don't act as one to the fullest are the ones who DON"T strap bombs to themselves to detonate them in crowded markets to get into islamic paradise with their 72 virgins. They too are targeted frequently by true muslims waging jihad as is prescribed in the quran.

Let's look at the Berbers. They were muslim pirates who kidnapped and enslaved over 1 million Europeans, Americans, and Africans who were not muslim. Their justification? The quran. That is what the mufti of Tripoli (now called Libya) told Thomas Jefferson. You say we cannot blame islam itself because the jihadists don't understand the message? The message is clear, that islam be the only religion, and all submit to allah. Those were the words of Muhammad, echoed by muslim scholars across the globe. Even the head of terrorist fundraiser group CAIR said islam is not in the United States to be equal to any other religion and that the quran should be the highest authority. Do an internet search for Sura 9:5, 9:29, 8:39, 8:65, what's not to understand?  Why should I care if scholars spend their lives studying the quran when I can read it once and see it is full of hate, violence, misogyny, pedophelia, and war against all mankind?

Funny, the name JERUSALEM is HEBREW... is that a mere COINCIDENCE?

Anybody in here call Jerusalem as "Al-Quds al-Sharif"???

    Please,anyone?

Jerusalem is Jewish by its own nature. This doesn't mean we will
deny other religions to worship there as they see fit. Before 1967
Six Day War,the Jordanians DENIED access to the wall to Jews,
used grave stones from the Jewish cemitery to build, tranformed
an old synagogue into a stable...

The Christians are fully PROTECTED in Jerusalem.Should the muslims
take the city, this situation would change dramatically for the worse.
