2008: The Great Deception

Sorry about the Obamania posts lately, but I think it’s important for all readers, regular or not, to understand the danger this man poses to our country.  I’m really tired of hearing and seeing good people fall for the “hope and change” rhetoric that has drawn so many people in who really haven’t been following the news that much.  I see it in many friends and family of mine and it’s really disturbing to see the average MSM talking point news follower blindly follow the same garbage fed to them daily in the news. They only hear what the MSM tells them and therefore know NOTHING about this man.

I don’t know how or why but I stumbled this post that just drew me right in…check this:

In short, Obama is an African American candidate in high office who is not compromised by civil rights activist establishment of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.  Racial reconciliation and presenting a youthful, post-racial face to the world are rightly seen as good things.  The press has breathlessly and uncritically reported his emergence.

But it is all happening so fast and bad signs are clear. The only publicly known people who have known Barack since before he was famous are an unrepentant terrorist (Williams Ayers), two racist preachers (Wright, Pfleger), a crook (Tony Rezko), and a wife prone to controversial statements when making political speeches (pull quotes include “Barack will make you work” and “Proud of my country for the first time in my adult life”).

Barack himself speaks in souring rhetoric when giving prepared speeches and aided by a tele-prompter, but descends into serial “uh’s” and “um’s” when asked questions. To put it mildly, his views on everything from tax policy to international relations are not fully formed.  To put it less mildly, he makes things up as he goes along, tells audiences what they want to hear, and changes his views to whatever serves him in the moment (from Rev Wright to FISA).

He also reminds us of Obama’s limp to the finish in the recent Democratic primary:

Barack Obama essentially clinched the Democratic nomination before the revelations about Reverend Wright and his overtly political and racial church came to light.  Would he have won 11 straight primaries had they been run after these quotes came out?  The combination of proportionate delegate apportionment (rather than winner take all) and the partial disenfranchisement of Florida and Michigan voters mitigated Hillary’s wins.

After the crash started, he lost Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Texas.  After it was clear he was the Democratic nominee, he still lost several Democratic primaries by 40 percentage points.  This is the definition of limping to the finish.

And then the clincher:

Americans do not vote for a candidate who acts like he is better than they are.

  • When a candidate goes to a San Francisco mansion and smugly looks down his nose at the guns’n'God folks in flyover country, he hurts himself.
  • When a candidate goes abroad and gives voice to negative foreign perceptions about America, he hurts himself.
  • When a candidate chastises his fellow citizens for failing to speak foreign languages (especially when he does not speak one), he hurts himself.
  • When a candidate will not deign to be interviewed, he presents himself as either having too weak a grasp of the facts to manage that sort of give-and-take or too self-interested to get “off-message”.  Neither option offers Hope or Change.
  • A candidate who will meet the tyrants of the world without any preconditions but will not meet Fox News under any conditions hurts himself.
  • The fact that he has so little in tangible accomplishments and speaks in platitudes only underscores the space between hope and reality.

When it all shatters in 100 days or so, half will wistfully look back thinking of what could have been while the other half will wonder what the fuss was all about.

    Obama is not Christian, his relationships are pure D evil.   He attended along with his wife, a blasphemous church and listened (and agreed) with a devilish preacher  that hates America, Whites, Jews among other things, of whom he called his Mentor, for 20 years. He only denounced his Uncle Wright for political reasons, even Wright said so himself, because Wright is Insane like Obama - can’t keep his mouth shut.  Their disease is called Narcissism . 
    If Obama is not the Antichrist ? (of which Obama has never denied knowing full well he is being called the Messiah) Obama is his next of KIN.

    Now, let me see.  Wasn’t it Adolph Hitler who presented himself as the Messiah way back when? If my statement holds true, then, Barack Hussein Obama hurts himself for portraying himself as the Messiah. You may add that to your list Infidelesto if there is any credence in what I wrote.

    Cool and right on Philip!  Has anyone ever seen where he denied the Headline stories on himself being called the Messiah.  I have seen that said at least one hundred times - since he began his campaign.   How disgusting, even read where some students said:  “Jesus is speaking” when he gave a commencement speech for old Demorat T.Kennedy this last spring.  Obama does not need to be speaking to young people, at anytime.  If it were my child in college, I would have a word or two to say about that, must be a very liberal college.  That is another thing that is getting out of balance with this Obama character.  His influence is going way too far - with young people today.  He needs to be stopped, the World is going crazy - out of control.

    Even if Obama was a Republican, he wouldn’t be able to govern USA, ’cause he hasn’t opinions, positions, nothing, his only point of view seems to be pleasing anti-Bush policy electors… I hope that people wake up as soon as possible and get rid of this “Obama dazzle”.

    Truer words were never spoken.  He has no heart except for HIMSELF, it is amazing that he has been able to get the crowd to listen?  I don’t get it, except it is a DEVIL SPIRIT (angel of light) speaking through him to hurt America, so the adversary can get a stronghold on the World.  All very covert, and sinister.   IF OBAMA WAS NORMAL, AND NOT SO POWER HUNGRY THIS COULD NOT HAPPEN. IT’S THE CARNAL NATURE OF OBAMA THAT DRIVES HIM AND FEEDS HIS EGO THAT IS STARVING FOR ATTENTION WHATEVER IT TAKES SO THE DEVIL SPIRIT MANIPULATES HIM.  (that is his devil spirit talking when Obama says WE)  Next paragraph WILL EXPLAIN IT FURTHER.  OBAMA WILL THROW ANYONE AND ANYTHING UNDER THE BUS TO MEET HIS LUST TO NOT ONLY BE PRESIDENT BUT LEADER OF THE WORLD. HE BELIEVES HIS OWN BIG LIE,

    Obama does speak a foreign language, he proved it to the new york times by reciting the muslim call to prayer, in arabic.  while in his muslim school in Indonesia, he learned arabic, as this is the only way to know the true koran.
    Mr. Obama recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent.
