Simon and Super Ultra Patriot- I know the media wants us to believe that there were no WMD's found in Iraq. My buddy, a Marine and one of the first in Iraq with his unit uncovered many warheads buried in the desert. Although Iraq did not have the long range down, same with Iran; they still posed a threat to national security, same as Iran.
I know it's easy to be a liberal dumbass and think the world wants to live in peace. If you would just pull your head out of your ass for 5 seconds you would realize there cannot be peace without war.

Carolyn, thanks! That's my little infidel pit bull! You should see my hands and arms from her going at me.

Why does Senator Obama advocate a surge of troops in Afghanistan though he considers a surge of troops in Iraq to have been a mistake? -Iraq is not a legal war, and thus we should give it over to our nato allies as they have requested us many times.

Why is a stable Afghanistan crucial to US interests while a stable Iraq is not? -Same answer as above, also, our ability to "stabilize" is suspect as we haven't "stabilized any country we've been in since ww2, except korea.

How long does Senator Obama expect to keep troops in Afghanistan? -Good question, no idea, but 1 war is still better then 2.

Why is an open-ended commitment in Afghanistan manageable while the same in Iraq is not? -I think this is out of context, open ended commitments isn't exactly what obama is out there for.

How much does Senator Obama expect to spend rebuilding Afghanistan? -good question, I would venture to say more then 1 dollar, and less then 10 billion a month.

Why is rebuilding Afghanistan affordable while rebuilding Iraq is not? Because instead of doing any real help in Iraq, we've been supporting and arming 3 different sects that absolutely hate eachother.

Why does Senator Obama consider the ethno-sectarian issues in Iraq to be nearly intractable while in Afghanistan they are something we can overcome? Well afghanistan is largely homologous, mostly sunni muslims, in iraq, it is actually the opposite, and since much of the world on that side of the world actually hate shiite muslims, they will have foreign incursions for the forseeable future.

If leaving Iraq will make the Iraqi government behave more responsibly, how will an increased presence in Afghanistan affect the Afghan government? -good question, no idea.

Why does Senator Obama advocate a “surge in diplomacy” and multilateralism in Iraq while simultaneously advocating unilateral action in the Pakistani tribal areas? -This is a misnomer, he advocated diplomacy first, then a strike, which is exactly the way things should be handled, but in all likelyhood osama bin ladin is dead and has been for quite some time, so, lacking an osama to attack, there would be no reason for conflict.

How large of a “residual force” will be left in Iraq and for how long? -a good question, but it can be answered pretty simply, more then 0, less then are there right now.

jennyjen love your picture, cute dog. I see we love dogs, SW-E-E-T!

I can't get the Gravitar to work for me? Worry about it when I get back from Florida. Read 'simon says' you can have at him, I'm done. Just telling all to TraveLight. Liz, give us a word of wisdom, for next week. All is working on the confusion, typical crazy folks out there.
As far as 10 questions, Obama would receive a minus F. Everything is above his pay grade, which is out of $ight. Money flows fast and deep with Hussien Obama, bloody money changers that is and the tables will turn.

..it would be interesting to find out how many human beings were killed in "shock and awe"... no one seemed to think it was worth counting.

I remember reading an article by a correspondent who was first into bagdad after the bombing, he heard a little girl screaming, as he rounded a corner he saw a small child standing by the corpse of her father. His intestines spilled all over the road.
War is a very nasty business, thousands of innocent people have been killed. No one can imagine the suffering of these ordinary people.

And seeing that there never were any weapons of mass destruction... the whole campaign has been a horror show of suffering.

Blood for oil... you know it makes sense

It would be fine to ask Obama these 10 questions if any conservative could answer the following question first.

Why did the United States invade Iraq, and start the Iraq war?

The guy who helped Obama with the anti-war stance is Lt. Lippert, who plans to become an "Intelligence" officer with the Navy Seals.

This is one of the few articles I can find on Lippert; which says that he is one of Obama's "foreign policy advisors".
