More sabre rattling from the islamic “republic” of Iran.

TEHRAN, Iran — Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have begun a military exercise and issued a warning that Israel and U.S. naval forces in the Persian Gulf would be prime targets if Iran is attacked.

The Web site of the elite Iranian force posted a statement late Monday announcing the military drill, which it said involved “missile squads,” but did not say where it was taking place. Iran’s guards and national army hold regular exercises two or three times a year, but the statement did not say whether this drill was one of them or if it was a special exercise.

Israel’s military sent warplanes over the eastern Mediterranean for a large military exercise in June that U.S. officials described as a possible rehearsal for a strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities, which the West fears are aimed at producing atomic weapons.

The Iranian Web Site quoted guard official Ali Shirazi as saying that Israel’s coastal metropolis of Tel Aviv and U.S. warships in the Gulf would be among the first targets if Iran comes under attack.

“The Zionist regime is pushing the White House to prepare for a military strike on Iran,” Shirazi was quoted as saying. “If such a stupidity is done by them, Tel Aviv and the U.S. naval fleet in the Persian Gulf will be the first targets which will be set on fire in Iran’s crushing response.”

Shirazi is a cleric who represents supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in the guards’ naval force. Khamenei has the final say over all state matters.

“The first shot by the U.S. on Iran will set the U.S. vital interests in the world” at risk, Shirazi said, according to the Web site.

The U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet, headquartered in the Persian Gulf nation of Bahrain, is responsible for patrolling the Gulf, the Suez Canal and parts of the Indian Ocean.

Israeli government spokesman Mark Regev would not comment on Shirazi’s warning other than to say “his words speak for themselves.”

Set the fleet on fire? What are they going to do, sneak up in the dark, jam a gasoline soaked towel in the exhaust port and light it on fire? Don’t they remember what happened the last time they tried to go toe to toe with the US Navy?

Right after we destroy the Iranian navy and and force, we should do the same to Venezuela’s and Syria’s air force and navy. After all they are allies funding Hamas and Hezbollah.

    Heh.

This isn’t the British Navy. And we do not follow the same R.O.E. as they do. Come a little too close to our ships, and they will blow a large hole in the water, you will fall into it, and then a cubic mile of water will fall on top of you. Moosh. Not a fun way to meet your 72 Virginians.

The mullahtards are scared as hell I tell ya!  Think about it.  In the war with Iraq, 3 million Iraqi “storm troopers” got wasted.  About 6 (that’s SIX) million Irani “crack soldiers” were whacked.  It took the US Army 3 days to completely rout the Iraqi army and almost choked the system with surrendered poopie troops.  These idiot mullahnazis are just talkin’ smack….just like Bahgdad Ali.  Reminds me of war talk in the Detroit Ghetto.  The ayatowlheads ain’t nothin’.  Those “Revolutionary Guards” have no desire to be ground up by the “Green Machine”.  They see what’s happening in Iraq.

Their wimpers will end in a bang.
We might have a few bad weeks, but their holy cities will be gone and no more Islamic Republic.  A free Iraq and no more Iran. Praise The Lord and General Petraeus.
I like the new design, keep up the good work.

Iran: An 8 year stalemate with Iraq
US:  21 day national takeover of iraq
Iran: a navy the size of the US fifth fleet with much worse technology
US: Fifth fleet and all the other fleets
Iran:  F-14s with homemade parts and a bunch of russian planes that do not have very good track records vs US planes.
US: Complete domination of any airspace it wishes to maintain

The victory obvious the price of oil 250 a barrel. Thats what the Iranians are counting on for us to never call their bluff. Sad part is one day we will have to question is will the next presidents have the balls to do it.
