The Democrat Party is always at fault because they are the do nothing or digressive party.  All they do is whine, moan, drink cool aid and blame the Republicans for everything bad. That’s why palooka  Palosi’s popularity rating was down at one point to 8 percent.  Even a dead beat homeless tramp rates higher than that.

Who cares who’s is to blame. What are we going to do about it. From my viewpoint, there are 2 or 3 options. Sell your car, buy a bike and take mass transit. Drive less or buy an electric car or a car powered by hydrogen. And option 3 is buy a pair of comfortable Nike’s and get ready for some walking. Since all of these options are out of the question for me, I decided to try and do something about it. While looking around, I stumbled across GasBankUSA, located at http://www.gasbankusa.com. The site talks about fixed price gasoline and locking in at a fixed price. An interesting concept and a little better than my magic 8 ball which continually tells me “try again later” everytime I ask it where are gas prices going OR will gas prices continue to rise. Looking through this site, it looks like a way to take control over something we had no control over in the past.

@Jim: What are we going to do about it? Opening up domestic drilling would be a start…

  • jennyjen

We have to point a finger at the oil companies, they have approval to drill on 68 million acres of land in the US, why aren’t they?? I’m sure there is a special interest involved. If they were to start drilling, there is not 1 oil refinery in the United States, so that means the oil would have to be shipped to a foreign country, probably Canada, to be refined. This nation of consumers has set itself up to be taken advantage of by big oil and we need to stand up and say, “Hell no, we ain’t gonna take it!”

  • Kal-El

Big oil is handcuffed by the Dimwitcrats in Washington. Those 68mil acres have no oil, which is why they aren’t drilling them. There are over 120 oil refineries here in the US, but the ecotards,  stopped the construction of new ones in recent years, despite the fact that more oil seeps into the ocean naturally than is spilled by man.

Texas produces about 20% of the nation’s oil, we have 28 refineries, all of which I have been to at one time or another, in the past when I worked in the industry :)

    Check it out – http://www.eia.doe.gov/basics/quickoil.html

The oil is there, we just have to get that traitor Harry “The Iraq war is lost” Reid to stop sitting with one thumb in his ass, the other in his mouth, and switching them every time we try to vote to open up more territory for exploration.

Kal-El, thank you! I will pass that info on to my boss’ sister who is die hard demwitocrat and argues with me about how great bigger government is and how Obama is what this country needs. Yeah, the urge to bitch slap hits me almost quicker than I can control it!
She told me that crap about the 68 million acres, I’m about to email her right now! But it wouldn’t surprise me if big oil was holding out, wanting more land rights before setting up shop and getting totally invested.

    Anytime :D

Is anyone else here ROFL that B Hussein Obama’s trip to Europe has done more harm for him, AND provided a boost for John McCain?

Of course oil is not innocent, they are in business to make money. But they have to deal with the ecotards here, and the EPA. Yet none of the ecotards have a problem with China, which, does almost nothing to prevent pollution from their oil consumption. Tell your sister to look at the smog in Beijing, and to look up how many cars China took off the streets in the run up to the games.

Pelosi is so unpopular now, she had better cling to her gun, and stay awake at all times.  She is looking bad with those bags and circles under eyes for fear of attack, not on the US but on her.  SHE EVEN HAS A TWITCH IN HER LEFT EYE, HER BOTOX SEEMS TO BE BREAKING DOWN.  She out right lied about Bush on the Today Show, which I hurried to turn off.  She is a nut job, freaky kind of a person that seems to be bi-polar like Obama her sweetie it seems. She sure is kissing his___.   Only for a moment in time, everyone of those nasty politicians are pushing each other’s buttons and living in Denial City.   Like Sodom and Gomorrah, all very evil, sex craved, power hungry, greedy lying RAT FINKS that will turn on each other in a heart beat!  You see it takes one to know one, so they are becoming paranoid – and that is the beginning of a bad end.  The Domorats will self-destruct!  They knifed Hillary in the back and are not past anything to get their way. . . YES THEY CAN AND YES THEY WILL!
