Rev Wright to release book in October…plans book tour

Can you say October Surprise?

The controversial Jeremiah Wright, Obama’s pastor and mentor for 20 years, who now joins a number of people under Obama’s Bus, will release his book in October and go on a book tour just prior to the election.

“In October, Obama’s former pastor, Wright, will publish a new book and hit the road to promote it, an occasion that might well place the topic of Obama’s blackness (along with his patriotism and his candor about what he heard in the pews in all those years at Trinity Church) squarely at the center of the national debate. How Obama handles that moment may determine whether he becomes the next occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.” — New York Mag

Best news I’ve heard all wee.  I can’t wait for the media hoopla on this one!

Great line from John Hawkins:

Wright is crawling back out from under the bus and delivering a little payback to Barry O.

  1. I wonder if the title of the book will be like that movie about the million man march. Something like “Get Under The Bus”…

  2. I wonder if Wright will go on Bill O’Reilly or Hannity & Combs to promote the book? Naaa, we couldn’t be that lucky. If he did, it sure would be more fun than the presidential campaign. But Wright, like his pupil Obama, would never, ever, take on a challenge like that. They are both cowards who are afraid to defend their positions against people who disagree with them. They only want to go in front of their adoring, fawning, followers. And these guys want to be national leaders?
