Democrats like Reid and Pelosi are elitists and they love the ideas of European Philosophers such as Voltaire and Plato, i.e.: political leadership of elite “Philosopher Kings” such as themselves. They look down their noses at the majority of American citizens who want illegal immigration stopped, security of life and liberty against Islamic Totalitarianism; and energy independence through domestic drilling, expanded nuclear power, and other alternative energy sources. This attitude and their actions are of course un-American and anti-American. The American idea is that just government power can only derive through the consent of the governed, i.e.: government of the people, by the people and for the people.

What we now have in America; thanks to the “New Deal,” is this European-style welfare state which mocks the will of the majority. We now have Socialism in America thanks to the Democratic Party and its “New Deal” Socialist Revolution. This American Socialist Revolution began in 1933 under the direction of FDR and his Socialist teammates. Socialism is un-American because it is unconstitutional. The U.S. Constitution does not empower the Federal Government to provide health care, retirement money, food, jobs or education. The tenth amendment gives those powers to the states or to the people. I’m not saying there is not a role for government to play in these areas – just not a role for the Federal Government. By providing this vast amount of jobs and benefits the Federal Government supports many of the people, and thereby controls them. This is un-American and unconstitutional; it is the people who are supposed to control the government.

The Federal Government of the United States simply has too much power as a result of the “New Deal” Socialist Revolution; and it is unjust and unconstitutional, and I believe it is leading to tyranny because this much centralized power removes ordinary Americans from the table – it has led to government power without the consent of the governed; and to policies which frustrate the will of the majority.

It doesn’t bother me if the GOP shuts down government. They never accomplish very much anyway, thanks to Nancy Pelosi and her worthless gang.
