Saudi Arabia: Father kills his daughter for converting to Christianity

No compulsion in religion, as long as you surrender to allah. This is just another sick, sad example of the misogyny built into islam.

Of course women’s rights groups and so-called moderate muslims (the ones too chicken to strap a bomb to themselves) will say nothing at all to condemn the father, but will call me names for writing about it.

SAUDI ARABIA: FATHER KILLS CHRISTIAN CONVERT DAUGHTER

(ANSAmed) - DUBAI, AUGUST 13 - A Saudi man, member of the Commission for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, has killed his daughter for converting to Christianity, the Gulf News daily reported, without providing details on the identity of the main characters in the case. Sources close to the victim said that the man had cut the tongue of his daughter and set her on fire following a heated debate on religion, the newspaper published in Dubai writes. The brother of the victim found in the woman’s computer some articles on Christianity she had written on various blogs and regional websites under a nickname and the symbol of the cross. That discovery made her family life unbearable, the woman wrote on the ‘Al Ukdoud’ website a few days before her death. According to a testimony of a friend of the victim reported by the ‘Free Copts’ website, the father is arrested by the police and investigation has started against him for an “honour crime”. The honour crimes, perpetrated by a male member of the family against a woman of the same clan to “wipe out the shame of the dishonour” from her indecorous behaviour, are generally punished with mild sentences ranging between six months and three years in jail.       What about the honor of the human race?? A man killing his daughter for having “Christian ideas” is sickening and a terrible representation of humans as a whole.  I just don’t see how any responsible government can sit idly by and let this bullshit go on.  And all in the name of honor and Allah. I see no honor here and I gotta say it, To Hell with Allah!!!

      Oh a member of the promotion of vice and prevention of virtue squad! They seem to have a thing about burning young women, when they are not beating and butchering them, that is.  In 2003, the same squad were reported to have been responsible for the deaths  of 15 school girls or more when they forced  them back into an inferno because they were not wearing their hijabs.

      When a man tortures and murders his own child or daughter, it is an  Islamic  “honor” crime.  No doubt,  he will now be promoted for  such an honorable deed.

      At least, she died a Christian, nothing he or his evil minded ilk can do about that now.  Their wretched family values are  a shame to parenthood!
