unbelievable…well not really actually.
After going to Saddleback and giving his pathetic answer to the evangelical community, and then saying in an interview afterward that “people are lying” about his position on the born alive infant protection act, this Audio now surfaces of Obama clearly arguing against protecting babies who’ve been born alive after an attempted abortion.
Here’s what he said right after the Saddleback forum:
“They have not been telling the truth,” he said. “And I hate to say that people are lying, but here’s a situation where folks are lying.”
“I have said repeatedly that I would have been completely in, fully in support of the federal bill that everybody supported - which was to say –that you should provide assistance to any infant that was born - even if it was as a consequence of an induced abortion,” he added.
“That was not the bill that was presented at the state level. What that bill also was doing was trying to undermine Roe vs. Wade,” Obama claim.
Amazingly, the Obama camp came out ther next day and clarified:

And then this audio which surfaced from 2002:
In this audio Obama coldly claims two doctors helping a baby born alive after a botched abortion would be a burden for the aborting mother when he is arguing against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act at the Illinois state legislature April 200
Obama: “and that essentially adding an additional doctor who then has to be called in an emergency situation to come in and make these assessments is really designed simply to burden the original decision…”
