Thanks and I do hope she will be even more fiery.  We have the same running thread.  God definitely made people like us, but it is hard to fit in this traditional boring world, however we have enough to get by.  Others want to shut us up, not available.  I refuse to be put down, or held under for very long.  You go!

It's a 'make my day' - day.

I took one 'oppressive' day off for the birth of my beautiful grand daughter born on 9/9/08  @11:59.  She's like her Mee Maw already in the fact she won't arrive early, just under the wire.  I'm usually running late, but it's Posh to be late.  Ha Ha!
My better half doesn't think so, but he usually forgets something he meant to bring, trying to make me hurry.  Haste makes waste, LOL  I'm a double checker, locking doors, turning lights on, etc. etc.  Of course I might be less late if. . .
which remains to be seen?   Just being silly kinda sorta.

Now I'm back in the swing of things, oppressing Obama & Muslims.  How fun!

I just won't vote for one who is a Marxist, who has very questionable judgement in his associations, talks out of both sides of his mouth and has the experience of a freshman senator. To say that Palin hates people of color shows your ignorance. Give me a conservative black man or woman who believes in the constitution, and loves life and wants to protect our nation and liberties, and I would vote for him or her in a flat second over a white man or woman who doesn't.

Carolyn, I watched McCain's speech too! I loved it! I really liked what he said about standing by the American People not in front of them and no tax increases like Obamasan wants, a 55% inheritance tax WTF!!   Did you see the t-shirt that said, "John is MY HOMEBOY" I want that shirt!
Obama Man- blow it out your ass (that's the nicest way I know how to say it). Obamasan has probably cheated on Michelle (her scowl gives it away). The MSM is kissing his ass and won't dive into his past because they are afraid they will find something bad. And they don't want that because for some odd reason, the press wants Obamasan to run this country. That statement right there is enough for me not to vote for him. McCain is doing so good on his speech, wonderful and clear,  I am listening so close, left out a letter or two in what I wrote on above post, but still you get what I said.  No one is perfect, but John McCain is a near as it gets. Like what God said about David, "you are a man after my own heart."

Liz, I think that 57 states thing was a freudian slipup, seeing as there are 57 islamic states representing the Organization of the Islamic Conference which has been leaning on the UN to criminalize insulting islam or pedophile Muhammad. I'll tell you what...I vote with my pro life vagina (pardon the blunt words all you other conservatives), and I finally feel I can vote for McCain. He's too much like Hillary for my taste, but Obama, the liberal, marxist who wants to tax my family into oblivion and give my money away is off the charts. Palin stands for what she believes and I stand with her.  Oh yes...Obama the Messiah, the One who will save us, the King of the Universe...doesn't even know how many states are in America...57 according to his last statement. Maybe he is thinking of adding some. Or maybe he is going to create some with his godhood. Oh yes...me & my private parts will be happily voting Republican this year.

I've checked Palin out, among her list of impressive accomplishments was taking down the good ol' boy system corupting the government. That takes balls and determination. McCain/Palin has my vote!

I would like to thank the McCain camp for single handedly gift wrapping and presenting this election on a silver platter to the dems with this erroneous pick for vp. If John actually thinks that he is going to get those 18 million votes by simply choosing a woman as a running mate, then he must think that women vote with their vaginas and he simply could not be anymore wrong.
Palin stands against every issue that benefits women's rights, believes that there is no such thing as global warming and that ice caps melting around the polar bears are of no concern and we should drill in ANWR because it will benefit her husbands interests in the BP oil company.

Couldn't agree more than with the above comments.  I feel much better about a McCain victory now.  This is one level-headed and plain folks lady we can all relate to....well, except for the dimwitocrats......

All I can say is ... awesome!  McCain's choice put to bed any discussion of Obama JoeBiden's convention speech.  Brilliant!  All the talk today is about his surprise choice.  I admit I don't know a lot about her, but what I've learned is enough to really get me (and, I think, a  lot of Repubs and even some conservative Dems) excited.  I was afraid McCain was going to pick Romney (who I personally like), or Huckabee, or some other (yawn) politician that would have caused a blip in the news.  But this is big, and it's fun watching the Dems try to spin this one!

I'll admit I was a little worried about who his veep was going to be, but last night I felt much better.  He's found a gem among the stones....
