The Untied Kingdom just doesn’t get it. Or, more likely, the elites in charge get it and don’t care. Unfettered immigration of muslims who want to destroy the West? No problem! Christian immigrants escaping from persecution in muslim countries? No vacancy.

Mum’s heartache as son deported

A CARE worker from Coventry was devastated last night as her son was being sent back to Uzbekistan after being refused permission by the government to remain with his family.

Liliya Kirienko, 41, of Wordsworth Road, Stoke, has lived in Coventry for five years and her husband Peter, 49, grew up in the city.

Last year, her son Alexey, 24, fled from Uzbekistan to escape the repressive regime, despite his visa application being turned down several times.

Liliya said: “The Home Office won’t give him permission to stay because they say he is old enough that he doesn’t need his family.

“But he has no friends or family in Uzbekistan – I am here, so is his grandma and his cousins. His father moved to Russia years ago.”

Liliya said when her son arrived last year he was taken to government accommodation in Sunderland where he waited for a decision from the Home Office.

Last week, he was transferred to an immigration camp in Scotland to await deportation.

Liliya said: “The first we knew about him being refused was when he went to claim his benefits last week and he was stopped and taken to the police station.

“I have a heart condition and need a big operation, but I have not been allowed to see him before he goes.

“We are Russian so living in Uzbekistan was difficult, especially as it is a Muslim country and we are Christian.

“I left there six years ago because there was civil war and it is still very dangerous now and I am afraid he could be killed if he goes back.”

A UK Border Agency spokesman said: “It is an important part of ensuring an effective and fair asylum system that those found not to be in need of international protection are removed from the UK.

“We examine with great care each individual case and we will not remove anyone who we believe is at risk on their return.”
