Putin Accuses America of Ordering Georgia Conflict to Influence U.S. Elections

MOSCOW — Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has suggested the United States pushed Georgia toward war and said he suspects a connection to the American presidential campaign.

Putin spoke in an interview with CNN on Thursday.

Russian news agencies report he said the U.S. seemingly encouraged Georgia to use force to resolve its dispute with separatist South Ossetia.

ITAR-Tass quotes Putin as acidly suggesting the U.S. felt it would be easier to arm one side and push it to “murder” than to engage in painstaking talks.

The report also quotes Putin as saying he suspects somebody in the U.S. provoked the conflict to give one of the candidates an edge in the U.S. presidential election. He apparently did not name a party or candidate, or provide evidence.

Of course he didn’t provide evidence! Leftist commies like him, Chavez, Castro, Pelosi and Reid NEVER do.

    So Putin, produce what evidence you have!  If you don’t back up your rhetoric with evidence, then you’re just another commie liar whose statements are just self-serving.  And another thing, just what candidate is benefitting from this and how?  I don’t follow that line of reasoning.  

    And by the way…Ever since you were the head of the old KGB, I’ve always thought of you as an arrogant, hypocritical, dishonest, deceptive, egotistical, commie sonofabitch!

    Isn’t it interesting to note that when Pukin’, I mean Putin was President of Russia, one hardly heard from Prime Minister What-was-his-name.  But now that another whats-his-name is President and appoints Pukin’, I mean Putin, as Prime Minister, you don’t hear squat from the Prez and Pukin’, I mean Putin does all the talking and sabre-rattling.

    Yea, tell me that was a complete surprise to everyone!  Something is rotten in the state of Russia and it ain’t Borscht!

    You people must not read much or even watch anything other than propaganda filtered news because outside your small bubble of ignorance it is common knowledge that McCain’s cheif foreign policy advisor is Randy Scheunemann, former lobbyist to the Georgian government embassy in DC and has already recieved a $200,000 contract to  continue providing strategic advice.
    It can also be noted that former McCain staffer Charlie Black said in a Fortune magazine interview that a terror attack on U.S. soil would help his candidates political position.
    But by all means, go ahead and vote for Johnny and don’t mind when the Russian missles come and start melting American cities and the status quo is reduced to radioactive ash.
