i mean another male cat. this chemistry cannot produce offspring and can't retain heredity

god has created each creatures with its pairs, night with day, woman and man, human and animal. its important for us not to go against what god has created as god knows what is better for the creatures. how come a male cat is in love with another cat? does it seems weird?

Prop 8 seems redundant to me but then again, I have common sense that tells me marriage is a union between a man and a woman. It's unfortunate that it even has to be an arguing point for politicians, they're just using it so they don't have to deal with real problems facing society.
On Gay Marriage, I'm not going to tell 2 men/women that love each other that they can't be together or adopt children. I know a gay man who has a son with his ex-wife and he's an awesome dad, so is his boyfriend. I'm not going to look down on a person because they are gay, bi, a different race, etc. I'm going to see how you treat everyone else and make a decision from there.
I see Islam persecuting Christians, Jews, Gays, Women and it makes me not like it. I see Christianity helping everyone because that's what a good Christian does. Some people have done horrible things to Gays and use the bible to justify it. The Bible may say a man shall not lie with another man once or twice but how often does it say to forgive, judge not lest you be judged yourself and to turn the other cheek? If you live in a glass house, don't throw stones my friend. I don't think Islam preaches that.

Proposition 8 isn't going to *take away* rights to gay couples. Whoever is saying that probably is lying. But it certainly isn't going to grant them *new* rights, rights which straight couples have.


I don't feel marriage between people and chairs and animals and multiple people ought to be recognized by the law. But I do feel gay marriages should.

I think Christians actually want *more* homosexuals to come to their congregations so they (Christians) can try to turn them straight. But the desire for a ban on gay sex remains.

Regarding gay marriage in California (I live in California)...This again is one of the biggest distortions that the left is trying to push, the desire to "take away gay rights" in order to keep the definition of marriage between 1 man and 1 woman. 

Let me enlighten you with the truth.

Those who are for Prop 8 (A California Constitutional Amendment defining marriage as between 1 man and 1 woman) are not for taking away ANY rights from homosexuals.  The definition of marriage has nothing to do with one's "rights".  I'm so sick and tired of people distorting this fact. 

It has everything to do with DEFINING WHAT MARRIAGE IS.  Not taking away anyone's rights to do anything.  Homosexuals have ALL RIGHTS that married couples have, regardless of what the definition of marriage is.  Why do liberals push this lie so much.  Are they totally ignorant or just complete liars? The purpose of this is to sanctify the tradition of "marriage" that has been in place in our culture since, I don't know, forever...

If anything, redefining marriage to "whoever, whatever or as many people or things as they want" is an infringement on what marriage actually is and what it has been for hundreds of years.  Can you imagine your kids being taught in school that it's ok to marry anything or anyone they want?  Can you imagine Suzy, Sammie and Anna all getting "married" cause they all love eachother?  When you drop the definition of marriage to "whatever or whoever they feel like", you're going to see people marrying their pets, people marrying in groups, the list is endless without a definition of what marriage is. 

Oh and one more thing.  65% of voters of California voted in 2000 to keep the definition of marriage in its traditional state before it was overturned by 4 liberal activist judges last year.  Do you not see the threat to the democratic process when a couple judges can "decide" something eventhough the will of the people was clear as day?  I think prop 8 will pass with flying colors just like it did in 2000.

Sorry, but Christians founded this country and have, for the most part, been operating our government for over 200 hundred years and there's never been one instance to forbid two people from engaging in whatever acts they feel is appropriate in their own homes.  Besides, if what you're saying is true, then why don't Christian churches ban homosexuals from their congregations? They have all the power they need to do so, but they don't.

No, I agree there's a problem with that. Mixing church and state is problematic to me, period. And it is even more problematic when that "church" is Islam, because of what it states.

The difference is that Jesus did not preach killing those who opposed him, Muhammad did, and personally killed many who did. Feel free to equate the two if you can find a way to do that.

I read this on the Gallup polls some time back, and I was very, very surprised to learn that a large percentage of Americans felt that Biblical teachings should be more incorporated into lawmaking. It really wasn't too far from the percentage of Arabs that felt that Qur'anic teachings should dominate lawmaking. This is what surprised me. I always thought America was all about secularism. But polls seem to indicate otherwise!

(1) I don't think homosexuality should be banned.
(2) I don't like societies that would try to do so.
(3) Thus, I don't like Muslim societies that would try to do such -- worse if it's by law.
(4) Thus, I don't like Christian societies that would try to do such -- I'm glad this is not law, but I do believe they would try to make it into law if given the chance. I mean, look at Proposition 8 in California banning gay marriages. Most Churches around the country are supporting that.


Not really sure where moral relativism come into play here. And I'm not sure how it is you go around decreeing "multi-culturalists have no morals."

Give me a break.  Christian churches may morally and religiously oppose homosexuality but by no means are they trying to put it into law.  You're dreaming if you think Churches in America, if given the opportunity, would try to ban homosexuality...

Judeo-Christian values have been the backbone of Western civilization's value system for hundreds of years, and there's a reason why these values promote inalienable human rights and freedom for all men/women. 

This pathetic attempt at moral relativism, dragging our culture into the gutter at the level of the fundamental Islamic culture is typical of the average multi-culturalist who literally, has no moral compass of his own, and will forever defend evil wherever it exists, incapable of discriminating between that which is good and that which is evil.

That is why we have a separation of Church and State. In islam, the church (mosque) IS the state. Look at Iran, Southern Lebanon, Indonesia, Malaysia, and many others.

Pretty unfortunate.


Lesbian sex would be forbidden in many parts here in the US if Churches had their way.
