Here’s an interesting take from a small business owner anticipating Obama’s tax plan for America and his small business.

Dear Fellow Business Owners,

As a business owner who employs 30 people, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barack Obama will be our next president, and that my taxes and fees will go up in a BIG way.

To compensate for these increases, I figure that the Customer will have to see an increase in my fees to them of about 8 to 10%. I will also have to lay off six of my employees. This really bothered me as I believe we are family here and didn’t know how to choose who will have to go. So, this is what I did.

I strolled thru the parking lot and found eight Obama bumper stickers on my employees’ cars. I have decided these folks will be the first to be laid off.

I can’t think of another fair way to approach this problem. If you have a better idea, let me know.

I am sending this letter to all business owners that I know.

Sincerely,

[Name and company redacted]

I don’t think there are any federal anti-discrimination laws that would apply here.

Just so you know, whoever wrote this email was either wrong or is trying to be a fear monger.  Taxes are only on profits, that is net income after all the deductible expenses are taken out of a business’ gross take.  The increase is only on marginal income ABOVE the $250k mark, so if a business makes $260k after all expenses, then the higher taxes apply to the last $10k, meaning that they’ll have to pay $300/year more.

If they’re making so much profit that they’ll be paying lots of additional taxes, they may want to consider instead reinvesting in the business.  I know that could lead to more profits, but that’s the breaks.

You can bet the taxes won’t stop there.  Clinton said he would not raise taxes either, and then did it.  The middle class must be taxed to fill the coffers for The One’s “programs”.  The top 5% earners will not be able to pay the bill.  The tax realignment deal Obamsiah talks about will drive more business overseas….whether the businesses actually move o/s or not.  Jap cars are cheaper because they pay no US taxes that are killing our businesses.  The union wages and benifits that northern business has to pay are a factor too.  We’ve priced ourselves out of competition.  So expect more layoffs, more taxes, and a CHANGE to a welfare state….just like California and Michigan…and look what that has done for their economies……they’re both a hair away from bankruptcy.  Idiots!  Ben, just the tip of the iceberg.

Why can’t people explain it in simple terms?  The working person ends up paying the taxes everytime taxes are raised.  Here is a simple example.  Let’s say that corporations have their taxes raised by five percent.  What happens?  In order to stay afloat, the price of products increases.  Then, who pays?  Naturally, the working class pays the higher prices for the products, and is thereby paying the taxes raised by the “glorious goverenment” a la Democrap fashion.

Don’t say the “consumer” pays the taxes because most people don’t know the meaning of “consurmer.”  Ask people walking down the street and see if they know the meaning of “consurmer” and you’ll see what I mean.  I said to keep it simple.

Ask simple questions such as: When the government clobbers the oil corporations and adds a tax to oil and gasoline, who pays the extra tax?

Just because you’re educated, doesn’t mean that everyone else is.  As many as 60 percent of students among some races drop out of school, and remain stupid.
