Quote of the day

Do you like this story?

“Just a month out from the 2008 Presidential elections, someone at CNN finally took a long, sober look at the carefully choreographed rise of Barack Obama through the staggeringly corrupt world of Chicago politics and thought, ” My God, what have we done?”

The resulting panicked report is brutally factual.”

*update*

I just had to add Hotair’s quote of the day from National Review since it applies perfectly.

“In the world in which Obama moves, it would seem absurd and provincial to object to partying with an ‘unrepentant terrorist’. The Senator advanced and prospered in a milieu in which men like Ayers are not just accepted but admired for their ‘passionate participation’, and function as power-brokers and path-smoothers. This is a great country, and most of us (as Peter Kirsanow notes below) make it without having to kiss up to America-haters like Ayers and Wright. But not Obama.”

Thanks to our secular-socialist government schools, two generations of Americans haven’t assimilated all the necessary information dots required for the understanding and preservation of sacred human liberty; and they can’t connect the ones they have.

We must raise and educate our children and grandchildren better, or American Liberty will become a footnote in Islamist and Communist school books.

I agree Storm-Rider.  I was at the range today and watched a cop and a wannabe cop screw around trying to zero an AR-15 equipped with a scope.  The cop left and the baby cop was still trying.  It took me 3 minutes of instruction to get him straight….then asked him if he’d done a zero on the iron sights.  “What for?” he says.  Geez dude, what if the battery dies?   Amazed head shaking………..
