Saudi cleric favours one-eye veil

Apparently my long held personal belief that the Saudis have ZERO self control when it comes to their sexual impulses and the urge to rape/molest women (and farm animals) has some basis in truth…

A Muslim cleric in Saudi Arabia has called on women to wear a full veil, or niqab, that reveals only one eye.
Sheikh Muhammad al-Habadan said showing both eyes encouraged women to use eye make-up to look seductive.
The question of how much of her face a woman should cover is a controversial topic in many Muslim societies.
The niqab is more common in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf, but women in much of the Muslim Middle East wear a headscarf which covers only their hair.
Sheikh Habadan, an ultra-conservative cleric who is said to have wide influence among religious Saudis, was answering questions on the Muslim satellite channel al-Majd.

Seriously, are the Saudi men that pathetic, that a little eye make up will make them run wild chasing women?

    so they all would look like Marty Feldman in Young Frankenstein, leaning over, trying to see with one eye as they move around.  “hump? what hump?”
    how about, no eye slit and they wear a sonar machine around their neck that beeps as they get close to something.  no, that wouldn’t work, the faster it beeps the more excited the men in the area would get and lose control. I know, have the men wear a ninja suit too, but to make it different the men can use the right eye and women the left.  that should solve everything.

    and these people claim they have the highest honor and respect for women.  no wonder they keep the women folk uneducated.  wait till they wake up and start making some demands.

    When the women make demands, honor killings occur. Or in Jordan, they are jailed, to “protect” them from the religion of peace…

    Muslim men have the self control of  howler monkeys. I guess the next step is to fashion jumbo boxes for the women to wear under their sheets so the female silhouette doesn’t make the men wild with desire.
    Islam: good for a laugh, bad for a religion.

    How pathetic! Even animals need the use of two eyes . I though women were at least on equal status with animals in islam, gees!

     If the world does not wake up, this nonsense will be the order of the day.
    Europe is falling fast and the USA should look to us in the UK to see what will happen to them if they allow Islam to make and are granted their demands.

    This report just caught my eye – well, both of them, actually. Muslim men are sexual freaks. Can one of them please explain why their women must hide their bodies so thoroughly? And don't hide behind that word "tradition" while doing so.
