BBC Host Gets Fired After Asking for a Non-Muslim Cabbie

Do you like this story?

I thought that the liberals over at the BBC were supposed to be the tolerant ones. Personally with Muslims creating fear in the UK with no go zones for non-Muslims and with the rapes of non-Muslims by Muslims on the rise in Europe who can blame her?

BBC Radio host sacked after call to taxi firm requesting ‘non-Asian’ driver
By DAILY MAIL REPORTER
11th November 2008

A BBC Radio presenter has been sacked following a ‘racist’ call to a taxi firm, in which she requested a ‘non-Asian’ driver.

Sam Mason told the operator that ‘a guy with a turban would freak her daughter out’ insisting they send an English driver instead.

The ex-glamour girl, 40, called the firm to order a taxi for her 14-year-old daughter off-air, while presenting her BBC Bristol radio show.

After the operator branded her request ‘racist’, Mason insisted, claiming it wasn’t the first time she had made the request.

She said: ‘A guy with a turban is going to freak her out. She’s not used to Asians.’
When the operator said it would not be possible to carry out her wishes, she said: ‘You’ve managed it before.’

Mason, who has previously battled alcohol addiction, claimed she wasn’t racist but insisted she was looking out for her daughter’s interest.

Mason said: ‘If it were me I wouldn’t care if it had two heads, but it’s my little girl we are talking about.’

After the operator refused to book a car, Mason complained before hanging up.

The operator said: ‘We would class that as being racist. We can’t just penalise the Asian drivers and just send an English one.’

The BBC were alerted to the conversation after it was recorded and sent to the Sun newspaper.
The mother-of-one was subsequently suspended and fired 24 hours later.

A BBC spokesman said: ‘Although Sam Mason’s remarks were not made on-air, her comments were completely unacceptable and, for that reason, she has been informed that she will no longer be working for the BBC with immediate effect.’

If she was that worried about her kid she should buy the kid a gun and teach her how to use it……..oh that’s right, they don’t have rights like that in Britain.  The government won’t let them have any.  Well she could have had a friend accompany her, or just make the kid wait until she could be escorted.  I don’t blame her though.  I just don’t like the smell.  She should have just asked for someone that bathes regularly, that would eliminate muslims.  Threr’d be no racism there.

  • CM

If she had made a request for “only drivers in business suits” that would have been quite acceptable. But “no Asians”? That’s pretty fucked up.

  • Chris

What is f”ed up is the fear that Asain Muslim gangs in the UK are causing.

  • CM

Yeah. Asian Muslim gangs are fucked up, and so is requesting a “white only” driver.

No sympathy for her from my side.

  • Chris

Of course not, because feelings are more important than her protecting her daughter. There has been recent rapes in cabs by Muslim men.

  • CM

If rape was a concern, she would have mentioned it. Hell, she might have even gotten away with it. But she only mentioned aesthetic reasons. “My daughter will think it looks funny.” That’s why it’s fucked up.

  • Chris

Every non-Muslim in the UK has the right to be against the Islamic community there. They were welcomed with open arms and have showed the country no respect and deserve none back.  Respect is supposed  to be a two-way street, Muslims do not seem to know that.
I doubt very much she would of said do not send an Asian because I am afraid he will rape my daughter.

  • CM

Safety wasn’t the issue for this woman. Old white ladies often hold their purses tighter in low-income, black neighborhoods. Annoying for the majority of blacks who DON’T rob people, but you’re not going to get any massive demonstrations about it. But for her it was a problem with aesthetics and skin color, not about rape (otherwise she would have said it), and that’s why she got fired.

  • CM

If she can be honest about her desire for “no Asian drivers” then clearly she can be honest about her concern for her and her daughter’s safety. But it wasn’t about safety. It was about wanting a “white only” driver. And that *is* offensive. As offensive as having a “whites only” nightclub, a “whites only” restaurant, or a “whites only” seating section in the bus!!

  • CM

    Busted!

  • golfdad

In a genuinely free society, respectful of true individual liberty, Ms Mason’s decision would have been entirely her personal choice.  Black, blue, asian, non-asian, freakazoid with eight arms, her call.  But, of course, we were relieved of that liberty about 40 years ago.  The world is not a better place for that loss.

  • Chris

    Right CM,
You know for sure she would of mentioned rape. OK….If she had said that they would of not sent any cab at all. Bottom line it is HER choice and I do not blame her one bit. If Muslims do not like the backlash that is obviously coming in the UK, they can freely leave. They deserve a backlash witin the law.

  • CM

Given the report and her choice of words, I highly doubt she had any concerns about physical assault. “She’s not used to Asians” and “if it were me I wouldn’t care if it had two heads” says it all. She wanted a driver that looked “normal”.

Of course she has the freedom to request a non-ethnic driver — just as the taxi company has the freedom to deny service to her for being offensive. And just as the BBC has the freedom to sack her for sounding like a racist dick. *There’s* your non-violent backlash for you.

*This* actually is one of those cases where the word “racist” would be appropriate. (Muslim backlash — I don’t think that’s the case here and that’s not what I’m addressing that right now.)

I wouldn’t want someone who can’t feel comfortable around “coloreds” (and isn’t even capable of teaching her daughter to feel comfortable around “coloreds”) representing my company either.

  • Tonto (USA)

Are you guys kidding?  Free society?  If this USA was a really free society I could have a “United Caucasian College Fund” and “All White” colleges,  or have a little whites only magazine I could call “Pearly” or something.  How about a “White Miss America”?  How about I build a big Christian Church in a muz neighborhood and ring the bells for the “Angeles” every day, and ring the bells to call the faithful Christians to prayer on Sundays?  Right, I’d have to bring a cot to court so I wouldn’t have to go home every day.  Then I could get a Divinity Degree and put a REV. in front of my name.  I could become rich and famous going around stirring up trouble at sites where there was racial discrimination and such against white folks that just be trying to get along.  What tripe!

  • Chris

    CM,

I really not do care. I hope every non-Muslim in the UK starts speaking out and not wanting to do business with the Muslims there.
“Coloreds” are not looking to impose a set of barbaric laws on the world so save the foolish all is equal liberal thinking. I deal in reality.
She does not like Muslims for what they are doing to her country and wants nothing to do with them. GOOD FOR HER.
You are concerned with the least important part of the issue. Take a side because it is going to be us or them.

People in the UK will eventually take to the streets calling for an end to Muslim immigration, are you going to call them bigots?

  • CM

Dude, I’m not offended by her not wanting to ride a cab with a Muslim — I’m offended by her refusal to ride a cab with a “colored”! I already explained that!

  • CM

I’ll call them bigots if they start calling for an end to Asian- and anyone-not-dressed-in-Western-clothes immigration!

  • Chris

She never said the word colored, you did.

  • Chris

I said Muslim immigration, not against the way people are dressed. There is no way to separate the good Muslims from the bad. So the only way to deal with the problem is to end Muslims immigration. As Muslim immigration causes the same problems across the world. Let them stay in Islamic countries.

  • http://www.traveLightgame.com carolyne

Well can you blame her, smart girl.  It’s better to lose your job than possibly lose your daughter.  I would have done the same.
I am sure her women’s intuition was right.  Ever Read Gift of Fear, by Gavin.  You have first thought sometimes and it pays to pay attention.  This racist crap has got to stop.  I will choose what I think is best for me, and my family if it hair lips the devil, who cares.  She should not have lost her job over her choice.

  • CM

I maintain that I don’t think it had anything to do with safety. Personal choice, maybe. Personal choice influenced by disdain for non-white ethnicities, most likely.

  • Joan

    Carolyne,
The tide is turning here in the UK.

    Joan

  • http://infidelsarecool.com/ Chris

    CM,
She has a problem with Muslims. After what they are doing in the UK I do not blame her one bit.

  • Storm-Rider

CM: “Personal choice influenced by disdain for non-white ethnicities, most likely.”

No, this is disdain for life and liberty hating Islamist ideology, and those people who adhere to it.

To falsely accuse someone of racism, when violent and totalitarian Islamist ideology is in question, is its self racist; and that makes yours a form of hate speech.

  • Tonto (USA)

I been wondering for quite a long time now about the inequities in what the liberals, indeed all of us, call “PC”.  It’s OK for some people to say that word is not allowed, or voicing that personal feeling is inappropriate, or stating out loud my daughter has to marry this kind of person, or I’ll honor kill her.  But it’s OK for some people to say these things, and do those things because “it’s their culture”.  Well, damn it, I hate broccoli and I love pork chops!  I thought I’d get that out  before some freak that has a religious fixation on broccoli threw a flag on that play.  This crap is really getting too stupid for me to stand.

  • Joan

    Tonto,
For your personal information, you may be aware that i live in the UK, yet i have to use American sites to express how i feel, if i use sites based in the UK i am subject to race hate laws, for saying i disagree with what Islam is doing here in my own land. The land i was born in and the land my father suffered unimaginable hardship to help free and liberate Europe, yet i have to use message boards that are situated 5,000 miles away, i find the thought of appearing in a court my family fought to keep to answer charges of nonsense ironic.
Before i ever agree to live on my knees, i will be sure to make my views heard, no matter who agrees to allow it.

    Joan

    Islamophobic and proud of it.

  • jennyjen

I just have to wonder, if she would’ve asked for a “muslim-only” cab driver, would there be such a stink about it? I highly doubt it. As for me, I have only ventured in a cab 1 time, I, along with 4 others, were too wasted to drive 5 blocks to my apartment so we called the cab company, our only request was that he/she be sober! I can’t remember the ethnicity of the driver, just that we really pissed him off.
Joan, right there with ya darlin’!

  • Tonto (USA)

Yeah Joan, I’ve read some of the ways the rights of Brit citizens have been eroded by libtard legislators.  They think you’re all too retarded to behave yourselves so they’ll law y’all to death.  Happening everywhere and the hard feelings and anger is building everywhere too.  This will not end well.

  • CM

Tonto, please. I already gave my argument for why I thought she was racist, and never once did I mention it was because she asked for a non-Muslim. Read it already.

  • CM

    SORRY — I meant Storm-Rider, not Tonto.

  • Chris

    CM,

But that is what she wanted, a non-Muslim.
  • Storm-Rider

CM – I see your point but she, along with “the masses,” was programmed by the mass-media in England to refer to Muslims as Asians. This woman simply wanted to protect the life of her daughter, and to look down your nose at that, and unjustly call it racism, is not just a mistake; it is immoral. Defending innocent human life, particularly that of your own offspring, requires no justification or explanation; the failure to do so is cowardly or evil.

  • Chris

Don’t say Muslims, don’t say Asians….where does it end and at what cost?

  • Joan

I would not have a Muslim taxi driver, neither would i travel with one, the reason being, i do not want to be raped or blown to bits travelling with a suicide bomber.
The same rule if i visited America, if there was a choice in the matter, i would be next to the American and not the Muslim, if there was no choice i would refuse.
No one can be forced into the matter, not with sacking, court threats or any other intimidation. There was an anti drugs campaign here in the UK some years ago and there were posters up aimed at the teenagers, i say the same thing now they said,
             “JUST SAY NO ”

    Chris,
It will end with the loss of our liberties and freedom, either that or civil unrest and racial riots.

What we are witnessing in England is Marxist Socialism, which is simply an elite minority ruling class; rule of a minority over the majority without its consent which, according to our Declaration of Independence, is unjust government power. Marxist Socialism is always characterized by social engineering such as transfer of wealth, i.e.:  taxation and welfare programs which the majority opposes, and transfers of people, i.e.: immigration policies which the majority opposes.

“The history of all previous societies has been the history of class struggles.”  Karl Marx

“Society does not consist of individuals but expresses the sum of interrelations, the relations within which these individuals stand.”  Karl Marx

“From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs.”  Karl Marx

“The proletariat will use its political supremacy to wrest, by degree, all capital from the bourgeoisie, to centralize all instruments of production in the hands of the state… Of course, in the beginning, this cannot be effected except by means of despotic inroads on the rights of property”   Karl Marx

“You must, therefore, confess that by “individual” you mean no other person than the bourgeois, than the middle-class owner of property. This person must, indeed, be swept out of the way, and made impossible.”  Karl Marx

  • Storm-Rider

Marxist Socialism comes in phases. First you have the Marx phase, then the Lenin phase, and lastly the Stalin phase.

“When one makes a Revolution, one cannot mark time; one must always go forward – or go back. He who now talks about the “freedom of the press” goes backward, and halts our headlong course towards Socialism.”  Vladimir Lenin

“The press should be not only a collective propagandist and a collective agitator, but also a collective organizer of the masses.”  Vladimir Lenin

  • Storm-Rider

More Marxist Socialism and social engineering from Vladimir Lenin:

“Our program necessarily includes the propaganda of atheism.”  Vladimir Lenin

  • Storm-Rider

Lenin’s social engineering included the education of children and the mass media.

“Politics begin where the masses are, not where there are thousands, but where there are millions, that is where serious politics begin.”  Vladimir Lenin

“Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted….Give us the child for 8 years and it will be a Bolshevik forever.”  Vladimir Lenin

“The goal of socialism is communism.”  Vladimir Lenin

  • Storm-Rider

The last phase of Marxist Socialism is the totalitarian phase. The first phases represent the velvet glove of the Socialist Nanny State, but there remains concealed an iron fist of the tyrant state.
“Death is the solution to all problems. No man – no problem.”  Joseph Stalin
“The only real power comes out of a long rifle.”  Joseph Stalin
“If the opposition disarms, well and good. If it refuses to disarm, we shall disarm it ourselves.”  Joseph Stalin
“We don’t let them have ideas. Why would we let them have guns?”  Joseph Stalin

I’ve been thinking about our freedoms here now that we have BHO and will soon have the unholy trinity pushing through any kind of liberal agenda they want. I watched the election, and the hordes of kids outside the white house, some holding the hammer and sickle communist flag. The problem is that they are ignorant and no one under 40 really remembers the USSR and the evil they propagated all over the world. 15 million dead in WWII by Stalin. Tanks rolling over the Poles and the Checks, the Berlin Wall…the cold war…duck and cover. Remember that?  Oh…how about Pohl Pot in Cambodia…2 million dead, many just because they could read…yes read books.  Oh..yes and remember North Korea, and Mao…Tienamin Square?   I could live in fear of the future right now.

We are not Russia, or Europe or China, or Asia, with thousands of years of feudalism, and slavery. Their DNA is different than ours. Our nation was born in freedom. The first who came, came to be free to worship God the way they chose. We were born in a battle against the DNA of slavery to kings, to feudalsim, to rulership over nations. Our nation is bought by blood, the blood of men and now women who paid for freedom with their lives.  We are a nation under God…this is our DNA, and no one who says otherwise can change the truth.  Our purpose, our command is to stand!  Stand for God, stand for light against darkness, stand for righteousness, stand for freedom, stand in God’s mercy, grace, forgiveness, and trust that God is in control of this nation that was dedicated to Him from it’s conception. In doing these things we walk in the opposite spirit of those who would try to change our DNA. We must stand for what is good, and right…and in doing so…we stand against evil.  As a believer I am commanded to pray for those in authority over me. That’s a tough one. But as I stand, and trust God, I can believe that He is the One who can change things, because this is His nation.

  • Chris

Look what the “liberals” who run the govt of Oz are doing. They are about to censor the Internet and they are starting by banning 10,000 sites. Liberals are not for freedom, they are for control.

  • Storm-Rider

“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of “liberalism,” they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” – Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

  • Chris

Great quote SR, and too many of us will not take the time to really learn what the agendas of some political groups are.

  • CM

    Storm-Rider and Chris,

I really, really, REALLY don’t think it was about safety. She even said it herself — “if it were me, I wouldn’t mind” [a funny-looking Muslim driver], “but this is my little girl we are talking about” [and what my little girl wants my little girl gets].

Okay, this might be nit-picky but I think the “no Asians” line gave her away. To give her the benefit of a doubt, maybe she isn’t an actual racist — maybe she’s just a cultural elitist — maybe all she wanted was someone in a suit but it came out all wrong. I mentioned this in the other thread: the reasons behind WHY people say and do things matter a lot, and not all reasons are created equal.

Not enough details for sure, but the report as it stands certainly makes the REASON behind her request sound more like it was done with elitist-perhaps-racist intent, for a spoiled (perhaps even more elitist/racist than her mother) daughter.

  • Chris

    CM,

She does not trust Muslims, I do not blame her one bit. They even canceled the last St. Georges parade, a parade which over 10,000 people attend. Because of fears of the Asians Muslims. So please stop looking to protect these people.
  • CM

I don’t deny that some people are wrongly accused of “racism” when they speak out against Islam and certain communities of Muslims. But for some people, real racism — without the quotes — IS a factor for wanting to deport or deny immigrant communities. It can be difficult to weed out who’s who without getting to know the person, but this racism-hidden-among-the-ranks is the main reason why many people are averse to the idea of anti-Islamic sentiment.

  • CM

I’m not looking to protect the Muslims who what to harm us, obviously. But racism (as I see it in her words) is racism. There are much better examples of anti-thuggery bravery than this.

  • Chris

Islam is not a race and Muslims who are looking to harm us is only part of the problem as political Islam is even more dangerous. I have been speaking about this for over 5 years now and I have not seen one person who was using being against Islam to cover for racism. No matter what we say, Muslims and many liberals will always call us racists. Same thing with the borders. It is just an attack word to get people to back off on an issue. It does not work with me.

  • Joan

what i fail to see is why  the personal choice has been taken away in this case. If she was telling others not to do the riding in the cab i could understand it, but she was not.It was her choice and that has been taken away. This is sending a very powerful message to the people of the UK as to what is going to happen if they dare to excercise their personal choice.
In my opinion this case will mark the start of others of the same kind, how long i wonder will it be stood for, the forcing of the people will not work, and spells the beginning of the end, as far  as riding in a cab with a Muslim driver goes, i will refuse, for safety reasons. I will not however be advising others to do likewise.

    Joan

  • CM

Sure, I agree the word racist can be thrown around with wild abandon. Someone with a clear, rational mind who supports more border restrictions can be wrongly accused of being a racist. I don’t follow that debate but I have seen some very good arguments in favor of border control bullied in this way.

Still, I think racism *can* be a factor for some people when they say they dislike Muslims, despite the fact that Islam can be claimed by anyone of any race. Some people have a specific physical description of a Muslim in mind when they say they “hate Muslims” — and that Muslim is usually olive-skinned, dressed in ethnic garb. White Muslims can easily be included in this lot as “sand nigger” lovers. This is where the line between being anti-Muslim and being anti-foreigner can blur for some people.

I hate the Taliban as much as the next guy, but I wouldn’t stay in the same room as someone using the words “sand nigger” to define his contempt for the Taliban. My attention would quickly turn from the Taliban and onto that person. Intent matters, and some hatred is of the ugly, misguided sort.

  • CM

lol, that would be a funny twist. Instead of cabbies refusing (black) passengers it will be passengers refusing (Muslim) cabbies.

  • Joan

The comments i see are being switched around to make out everything is racial as usual.
I just wonder how many enemies Muslims make by their tireless defence of Islam.
Those workers travelling on the day of the London underground attacks for instance, not only those travelling who survived, but their immediate families, then their extended families, neighbours, friends, people who knew only slightly of them, work friends and the like, then we have the emergency services and the cycle continues.
Of all those people i wonder how many before that day were not one way or the other about Islam. I wonder how many watched the TV and decided they no longer wanted to use the shop on the corner run by Muslims, or how many moved away in the bus que and waited for the next bus.
Not racism but fear, and a loathing of terrorism. That brings a loathing of Muslims, right or wrong, no court actions will change it.
You will never force people to accept what they do not want to, infact it will make the situation worse
Islamic nations and the west are not able to mix and that is the top and tail of it. The way of the movement of Islam is alien to the west and for the life of me i do not understand why Muslims want to live here, it is not their land, they should live were they belong.

    Joan

  • CM

I wasn’t implying you were a racist, Joan. Not at all. I was just being lighthearted about things — lots of jokes out there about blacks not being able to get a cab in Manhattan. Maybe there will be jokes soon about Muslims not being able to get a passenger in London.

  • Joan

I see nothing about the terror threat as funny at all. Racists have different reasons for their dislike, a dislike because of skin colour is not the same thing. A dislike of Muslims forcing Islam on us is far removed than a gang of thugs looking for a punch up after a skinfull of alcohol.
Racists should not bother Muslims as they will never stand up on their own, but fear by the ordinary person, afraid their loved ones will be killed or hurt, or their country taken over will cause the problems.
People such as i who do not want to live on their knees will be the problem for Islam, not the idiot with a cricket bat.
I and many like me do not wish a punch up, we do not want the way of Islam, that is a huge and vast difference, those who will stand up and be counted, minus the cricket bat, as that is not our way, not the lawful majority.

    Joan

I can’t believe I forgot to mention this — was probably too appalled after reading that first sentence of the article — but Sikhs are actually the dark-skinned men with turbans, not Muslims. If you’re going to not like Muslims (and again I don’t think she gave a crap about the driver being Muslim or not, she only wanted someone white), at LEAST get your Muslims right!!

Muslims are the ones using suicide bombs and blowing people to bits, demanding more and more rights in the UK, eroding the original British people’s rights, forcing silence on the majority with threats of litigation. Knw your Muslims and get it right is too right.
Send me a non Muslim taxi, incase the driver is a suicide bomber, or rapist.

  • Joan

    carolyne,
I do not mention this lightly as it is not funny, but you do realise that if Muslims get what they want and introduce sharia and take control by force you will no longer be able to freely express your faith to your Christian God , don’t you ? Islam is not playing a game to lighten up the day, nor are they cracking jokes with us, it is a bid for domination. Don’t be fooled.

For some freaking reason this comment box will not allow me to post up links. So here’s the article in its entirety:

Trial begins for man charged with killing Sikh immigrant Defense attorneys will use mental illness strategy for defendant

Monday, August 18, 2003 Posted: 10:04 AM EDT (1404 GMT)

Balbir Singh Sodhi was neither Muslim nor from the Middle East, as the terrorist hijackers had been. Yet authorities say the gas station owner was targeted days after the attacks because he wore a turban and beard as part of his Sikh faith. Now a jury will be asked to consider whether the alleged gunman in the September 15, 2001, killing, Frank Silva Roque, committed a racially motivated hate crime, or whether a mental illness was to blame. Jury selection in the capital murder case is scheduled to begin Monday. Sodhi’s family believes the first argument is the truth. “As far as I’m concerned, my brother is a victim of 9-11,” said Sodhi’s brother, Lakhwinder “Rana” Singh Sodhi. Balbir Sodhi had been outside his gas station when authorities say Roque drove up and shot him. Prosecutors say Roque later shot at a Lebanese-American clerk at another gas station and fired into the home of a family of Afghan descent. No one else was hurt. The shootings rocked the Phoenix area and had repercussions far beyond. News of Sodhi’s death touched off protests in his homeland and prompted India’s prime minister to call President Bush. About 3,000 people attended a memorial service for Sodhi the week after the shootings. Authorities have never directly said the shootings were in retaliation for the terrorist attacks in New York and Washington, but they have characterized them as hate crimes. “Mr. Sodhi was apparently killed for no other reason than because he was dark-skinned, bearded, and wore a turban. He was killed because of hate,” Maricopa County Attorney Rick Romley said the day he filed the charges against Roque. Police reports also quoted Roque as saying “I’m a patriot” and that he was “standing up for his brothers and sisters” in New York after his arrest on the day of the shootings. Roque’s public defenders, Daniel Patterson and Robert Stein, plan to present a “guilty except insane” defense. As such, they will concede the basic facts of the case but are expected to argue that undiagnosed schizophrenia — not racial prejudice — triggered Roque’s actions. If the jury agrees, he wouldn’t be subject to the death penalty that prosecutors are seeking. But he would be confined to a state hospital until doctors determine he is no longer a threat. If the jury finds Roque guilty, mental illness could still be used as a factor in sparing him from the death penalty, Stein said. Roque was found competent to stand trial. However, Patterson said his client only appears fit now because he’s taking an anti-psychosis drug. “The witnesses all agree that he was behaving bizarrely … not explained by anger or alcohol abuse,” Patterson said. “He was incoherent, talking gibberish.” Patterson said Roque heard voices he thought were God. He said a doctor will testify that his client’s mental illness made him believe he was “doing God’s bidding.” Assistant Attorney General Joseph Maziarz, who helped work on a draft of the state’s guilty except insane statute, called it a “defense of desperation” and said he thinks it will be a hard sell. “They have to prove that (Roque) did not know the act was wrong in the moral sense, not just criminally wrong,” said Maziarz, who isn’t involved in the case. “I don’t know how they get around the wrongness issue.”

I agree and know where you come from, but I see a joke side to this as well.  When I read God’s Word. I am blown away as to his power and might in all this and I be damned if the Muslims can ever overcome the one true God.  God is not fooled, nor is he mocked, I’m on his side and refuse to fear Islam, no way.  Our weapons are mighty to the pulling down of strongholds, Eph:6 is my stand.
So they can take there rags off their heads and wipe their nasty butts with it and then put it back on their head, it will catch fire when they get to hell, because that is where they are going.  Now isn’t it funny to see them running with their rag heads on fire.  Don’t allow them to get any mind control, through doubt worry, fear.  God’s laughs at the enemy, knowing his day is coming.  HA HA HA  I laugh at Obama knowing his day is coming. Yea!!!!!
Just as sure as tomorrow comes.

Arrrrgh please delete that previous comment. Let me try again:

Trial begins for man charged with killing Sikh immigrant
Defense attorneys will use mental illness strategy for defendant

“He was incoherent, talking gibberish.”

Patterson said Roque heard voices he thought were God. He said a doctor will testify that his client’s mental illness made him believe he was “doing God’s bidding.”

Assistant Attorney General Joseph Maziarz, who helped work on a draft of the state’s guilty except insane statute, called it a “defense of desperation” and said he thinks it will be a hard sell.

“They have to prove that (Roque) did not know the act was wrong in the moral sense, not just criminally wrong,” said Maziarz, who isn’t involved in the case. “I don’t know how they get around the wrongness issue.”

    CM,

Sikhs were not mentioned here. Asians were and Asian Muslims are causing a lot of fear there. Many Muslims also where turbans….Bin Laden. Give a rest already, it really is pathetic how you are trying to butcher this woman for her opinion. Go move to the UK and see how you feel.
Tell us what anyone in the UK should like about Muslims.
Too appallad…….LOL!!  Then you admit you would be madder at someone who called the Taliban memeber a SN, then the Taliban guy. Typcial liberal stupidity and a cop out.
  • CM

    ^^

It’s THIS sort of shit that pisses me off and gets me suspicious about some anti-Muslim speech. Patriot? Standing up for his brothers and sisters in New York? Well go to hell, “brother”, and I hope you do get the death penalty.

  • Chris

So what, this has nothing to do with the OP, now you are taking wild guesses which only dilutes the problem. Something that happen one time 5 years ago.

  • Chris

You are more concerned with the exception then the problem.

  • Joan

    Carolyne,
I do not consider myself overly religious, however i do believe in God, and as such would nor could not embrace Islam, as i understand it to be a false religion and false God.
There are words of warning in the book of  Daniel.

Sikhs were not mentioned in the article but Sikhs are the guys who wear turbans in your neighborhood. The Muslims who DO wear turbans are the Taliban, bin Laden, Iranian ayatollahs, and some other folk — but when you are thinking about a brown guy in a turban who drives a cab you are essentially thinking about a Sikh. And, as the article I posted about Balbir Singh Sodhi demonstrates — GETTING YOUR FOREIGN BROWN PEOPLE STRAIGHTENED OUT IS OF UTMOST IMPORTANCE.

I’d be mad if someone used the term “sand niggers” to describe the Taliban is what I said.

And yes this woman is appalling and stupid for teaching her teenage daughter that it’s OK to be “freaked out” by non-white foreigners. That, and only that — “NO ASIANS” — is why I think she got what she deserved.

  • CM

And, if this helps clarify anything — I think that man who murdered Balbir Singh Sodhi and the Taliban deserve an EQUAL death sentences.

  • Chris

    CM,

I am done with the conversation, I do not care for the liberal foolishness. But all this coming from
guy who said that Muslims in NY/NJ are no threat. You might want to look up 911.

I can’t respect anyone who stands up for the Taliban.
  • Joan

I also am done with it, I don’t knowingly converse with terror supporters

  • CM

*rolls eyes* Oh please, save the dramatics. Terror supporter my ass! I LIVE and GREW UP where 9/11 happened — give me a break!!

  • CM

I did not say they were no threat, I said I have not visibly observed the threat where I live — most likely because they are being contained by the NYPD — so quit trying to inaccurately portray my beliefs! Ugh.

  • Joan

Now we see the real arguements appear, when in doubt , first it is the race card now its I live and grew up where it all happened, why not save the dramatics for what happened on that day then i wonder, oh right, that one is covered, it was really government foreign policy that caused all that.

  • CM

Jesus Christ, I call ONE person a racist and now I’m accused of calling everyone a racist and falling in love with the Taliban! This is ridiculous.

Anyway, I can’t respect someone who would dismiss the murderer of a Sikh just because the murderer’s intentions were in the “right place” for being anti-Islam. Touché.

  • Chris

    CM,

I did not dismiss the murder of the Sikh, it was 5 years ago and it is not a worldwide problem. Take a breather.
  • Joan

I go on many boards and mostly i take one look and decide that these people who i see in front of me posting are so far removed from how i feel, i move on, i would never ever dream of registering and then arguing my different point, they are entitled to their opinion, what annoys me, is those same people come on to the boards that obviously are so far removed from them and attempt to not just put their view across, that is fair, but i see no point to it, but to argue and then get stroppy with the posters who they do not agree with.
Silly communist views that are and will never be acceptable to many are pushed to the point of arrogance. Liberals can never accept that others are entitled to their view.

  • CM

I know you don’t, Chris. But do NOT call me a Taliban supporter!

  • Chris

Are you going to keep going on and on with this?

  • CM

Well, speaking as a liberal/liberal-leaner, I already accepted that many of the views I would encounter here would not always match my own since this is a conservative blog. I don’t needlessly comment on the Obama/liberal-media posts because my intent is not to simply quarrel with conservatives. I initially came looking for supporters of Wafa Sultan, disappointed with the vast numbers of Muslims who hated and demonized her for simply giving a critical analysis of Islam and Muhammad. I came searching for people who condemned the Danish Muhammad cartoon violence and who condemned the silly fatwa on Salman Rushdie for a perceived, largely untrue insult to Islam (and, even if it WAS a true insult, the fatwa is still reprehensible). Despite my disagreements on some issues, I’ve stayed this long because of the good information about political Islam, the Taliban, and Al Qaeda. So it’s on these grounds that I share a common interest with the writers of this blog.

I’m not here to disagree with everything I read simply because the writers are conservative — my intent in asking questions and providing comments is to get to know the people here better and corner the exact reasons why it is they think, feel, and say the things they do. If they make sense, I stop pressing. So far, most of my inquires have been met with reasonable responses and that’s a good thing.

  • CM

Well, I was done with the article a long time ago.

Now if I’m being called a terrorist supporter then obviously I have to respond.

  • Chris

I said all is cool, does this have to go on much longer?

  • CM

  • CM

    I was just…responding…

Nevermind. No, I’m off to bed. Peace out.

  • Liz

carolyne…thank you. I think that comment was inspired by a “higher up”. Joan…yes if Islam gets power, we would be unable to worship our God publically. Do you realize that the book of Revelation speaks of those who stand for Christ being be-headed? Brings a whole new meaning to it doesn’t it?  But God gives his children the grace to stand no matter what…in the face of death or prison. It happens all over the world, and the worst is that it would happen here in the country which was born under God. I believe that what I said before is true.  This country was born as belonging to God…the one true God. And God will not forsake us. And if He allowed us to go into captivity, then He would give us the grace to go to death for His name. Not as the Muslims go…with violence and killing of innocents, but with praise and songs on our lips as the Christians went to the lions in Rome. And we would go on our knees in prayer for those who were persecuting us, and that would open the door for God to come in and radically change the Muslims world, the way he changed the Roman world so many years ago. I pray it doesn’t come to that. If we want to see change, we must pray for and ask God’s blessing on our enemies. His blessing really is that they would come to knowledge of the truth. That they would know Him as He really is. It’s not that they will be blessed in their evil endeavors.  My prayer is that God will come in and totally re-make Islam in His image, to become what they think they are….lovers of God….but instead of the false God they worship, they would come to the worship of Christ. The key is to keep our hearts right before our God….not to curse or walk in anger, but to pray for those who are in darkness.  And to trust that God has His nation in the palm of His hand!

Liz no doubt, we just keep standing.   I have read something that will change this fiasco of an election, which will confirm what I just said.  I’m not anything and of myself do nothing,  but do totally rely on God to give me the desires of my heart and pray for that, and get in line with God’s Word, ( which is my life in Christ)  Not always understanding why at times, but trusting God will not let me down.  It’s tough love at times.  Read: Natural Born Citizen  @   blogtext.org.  it is an eye opener.  Pray that this takes place and our country gets a second chance to get it right.  Even McCain was not eligible to be President, and not Obama.  It’s going to cause pain as said at the end of the very long blof text.  This matter should have been taken care of, so there you have it, when you don’t follow the constitution you cause a constitutional crisis.  We must uphold the constitution, or our country will fall apart.  This man that is taking this to The Supreme Court is a God-send, keep praying and believing God’s Will, will be done.  Our country can be restored, showing we must follow laws, and abide by what is right.f
This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope.
It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his passions fail not.  They are new every morning great is his faithfulness.  Lam:3 21-24

  • Liz

Carolyne, I read all about the birth certificate thing. We’ll see what happens. If he gets innaugrated, then our job changes as believers. Our job then will be to intercede for him, not to curse.  When Clinton was president, the church cursed him and didn’t pray.l We got Clinton for 8 years and a rebuke from several of the prophets.  I hope we have learned our lesson this time.  I read that Justice Souter has told Obama to present his birth certificate by Dec. 1st.  What happens then?  Will he do it? Will Joe Biden be President?  This is a time that needs so much intervention by God.

  • http://www.traveLightgame.com carolyne

This different than what has been said before,  it not that Obama is not a US Citizen, but he’s not a Natural Born Citizen, just read it anyway, good for your brain.  Trust me on this.
      Ha Ha.

    Love ya

  • Liz

Carolyne…I know that. His grandmother in kenya said she was present at his birth … in Kenya.  And his relatives in Kenya also say he was born there. When he went to Hawaii to see his dying Grandmother, he made sure that the Governor of Hawaii sealed his records.  Also when he lived in Indonesia he went to school there, and what I read is that citizenship was a requirement at that time to attend school in Indonesia. That means that his mother gave up his US citizenship if he was one to begin with.  What a snafu. He might not even be a US citizen at all.  No one is reporting on this out there in news land. Not even Fox news.   So if he is required to show his birth certificate at the Supreme Court by Dec 1st, then it will finally be answered. Let’s just hope that Nancy Pelosi never gets to be President. That would be horror. Joe Biden would be just another Jimmy Carter…yikes what a thought.  John McCain was eligible to be President because even though he was born in Panama, his Father was in the armed forces. That is the exemption to the rule. And McCain presented his birth certificate when asked. Now that’s the difference between things done in the light and what is done in darkness and with subterfuge.  We’ll be watching and praying right prayer buddy? Let what is done in darkness be shouted to the housetops. Ande let the leaders over us be blessed with transparency.

  • http://www.traveLightgame.com carolyne

Hallelujah, 100% agreement, when any two, it shall be done. Liz. Thank God for that scripture, or more $&^% could hit.  Now, with McCain, that is right, and who or what do you think really happened with bastard ”baby daddy” Obama??
(your word of wisdom & knowledge)   Talking about a mix breed.
