Twas the night before elections

Do you like this story?

‘Twas the night before elections
And all through the town
Tempers were flaring
Emotions all up and down!

I, in my bathrobe
With a cat in my lap
Had cut off the TV
Tired of political crap.

When all of a sudden
There arose such a noise
I peered out of my window
Saw Obama and his boys

They had come for my wallet
They wanted my pay
To give to the others
Who had not worked a day!

He snatched up my money
And quick as a wink
Jumped back on his bandwagon
As I gagged from the stink

He then rallied his henchmen
Who were pulling his cart
I could tell they were out
To tear my country apart!

‘ On Fannie, on Freddie,
On Biden and Ayers!
On Acorn, On Pelosi’
He screamed at the pairs!

They took off for his cause
And as he flew out of sight
I heard him laugh at the nation
Who wouldn’t stand up and fight!

So I leave you to think
On this one final note-
IF YOU DONT WANT SOCIALISM
GET OUT AND VOTE!!!!

Good poem and too true. I hope that there are more well-off people in thiscountry who will vote tomorrow than welfare recipients.

It’s time we amended the Constitution.

    1.  No federal voting without paying federal income tax of at least 10%

    2.  Term limits for Congress and Supreme Court

    3.  2/3 Congressional override for all Supreme Court Decisions impacting the Constitution

    4.  Enforce the tenth amendment – break up all entitlement programs such as Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security into 50 state programs, and make all federal matching grants for public education illegal as this also violates our tenth amendment.

… pretty much the sort of stunt Margaret Thatcher pulled with her disasterous poll tax debacle.

Basically a way of stopping poor people voting. So Greg you only really want “well-off” people to vote…. sounds fair. Why let poor people vote?

… democracy only for the rich… what a great idea… fuck the poor… why should they have any say in anything?

mel brooks said it best “fuck the poor, its good to be the king”
nobama is basically promising “the poor” a $1000 for their vote, so yeah curtail the poors vote.  if you contribute then you get a voice not a handout.
they shouldn’t have any say, if they knew what they were doing the wouldn’t be “poor”, this is America, if you can’t make it here its time to check yourself out.
besides, the democrats like to keep people poor and stupid, its how they get elected.

one more change, who allowed congress/senate to give themselves pay raises.  it should be decided by us the people, you know – their employers,  to decide how much they should get paid.  so start with a 50% pay cut and no more bribes, uh I mean lobby money.

Actually, it’s a matter of; “if I pay taxes, I get a vote on how the money is spent.  If one is a “taker” rather than a contributor, all THEY are doing is to try to leverage more unearned income for themselves.  Examine that and you’ll find it’s true.
