Italy: Mosque Moratorium Plan

Just days after Italy arrested two Moroccan men who were plotting to blow up the Milan Cathedral on Christmas Day, the Italian Interior Minister Roberto Maroni has proposed putting a moratorium on Mosque construction. Of course those on the left and Muslim leaders have come out against the proposal. Msgr. Gianfranco Ravasi of the Vatican has said that he is OK with Mosque construction as long as the Mosques are used for religious purposes. My question to him is, does that include a religion that preaches hatred to Christians and Jews?

  • Some Conservatives just do not get it. The think that because Islam is labeled as a religion that the ideology itself cannot be the problem.
    It is just foolishness to allow the enemy to set up shop in your own backyard. It is also foolish to allow them to preach hate towards us within our own country. If this continues we will rot away from within.
  • I've been berated for many years calling for a ban of building any more mosques in America. Some of my fellow "Conservatives" (RINO's) are berating me now. I call for a severe restriction of Muslim immigration, I don't care what the color of the skin is, it's the ideology I'm against. America or any other Nation can not survive while letting in a people or an ideology that calls for our destruction. It's simple logic.
