2500 muslim butchers injured trying to slit animal's throats during Eid

This one has me chuckling. Perhaps if the butchers would be a bit more merciful when killing their food. Many might not be aware, but halal butchery involves slitting an animal’s throat and letting it bleed out, an agonizing and prolonged death.

(ANSAmed) – ANKARA, DECEMBER 9 – Around 2,500 people were injured in Turkey as they were trying to slaughter sheep and cows in the Eid al-Adha, the Festival of Sacrifice, Dogan News Agency reported. Muslims around the world celebrate the Festival of Sacrifice to mark the end of the haj by slaughtering sheep, goats, cows and camels to commemorate Prophet Abraham’s willingness to sacrify his son Ismail on God’s command. (ANSAmed).

Where are PETA, the ASPCA, and all those tree hugging numbnut animal activists on issues like this? Oh, right, they only attack those that they know won’t retaliate.

    I feel so bad for the cattle. They are in a much better place. Could you imagine being around all the filth and pig's and the stink from them. I do pray for the children..they know not what they say.
