Vienna – Austrian far-right parliamentarian Susanne Winter was convicted Thursday of incitement because of her anti-Muslim statements, including the claim that Islam’s prophet Mohammed was a paedophile. A court in Winter’s home town of Graz also found the 51-year-old politician guilty of humiliating a religion. She was sentenced to a fine of 24,000 euros (31,000 dollars) euros and a suspended prison term of three months, Austrian news agency APA reported.

The politician, who took a seat in parliament last fall for the Freedom Party (FPOe), made the anti-Islamic remarks in January 2008. She also proposed in a discussion with students that Muslim men should commit bestiality rather than making “indecent advances” on girls. The politician had pleaded innocent Thursday, claiming that she “did not want to insult anyone, but only to point out problems.”The verdict is not yet legally binding. Winter’s son Michael, a former youth leader in the Freedom Party, was convicted of the same crime last October. He had suggested in a newsletter that Turkish Muslims were in the habit of committing bestiality.

I don't know how we could react, for the infamous "POLITICALLY CORRECTNESS" is
damaging the brains of those who should LEAD us.
PC will impede major and actually useful measures to curb the ISLAMIZATION of
    our societies.
Now I understand people who live in the U.S. mountains ,armed to the teeth, extremely suspicious of the government .They are right.Sooner or later,we all will be forced to do the same in order to preserve our very lives and culture.

Whats really incredible to me is that the Muslims go off the wall and demand all kinds of respect for their religion
but don't give anyone other religion respect. Oh they say they do but what would happen if a Christain started walking around Saudia Arabia wearing a cross in public? Well, he would most likely be lucky if he only gets beat up. The liberal western press would blame it on the radical Muslims and the moderate Muslims ( if there really are any) would say that he was wearing a cross in public and that is offending to them.
  • (Continued) The insane part about it is that the new President will shut gitmo down. Bad move. We need more gitmos, more cells for these jihadist bastards. Putting these people into prisons will CREATE MORE JIHADISTS. Give me the good old days when it was ok to smack the enemy down, when America had a spine. Why don't our leaders get a clue ? It's anti Islam. I'm against islam. IT IS MY RIGHT. You clueless idiots, with your empty suits that arrest people and detain them for freedom of speech should be sent into yemen the filthy scum. This is reverse religious discrimination. They can say what ever "they" want and we have too bend over and take it. I say NO MORE. Mohammed ibn sharmuta.

  • "guilty of humiliating a religion" It's called free speech. I don't believe in mohammed. IAC admins be warned, I am in a mood. Here it goes. I don't give a rats arse about mohammed. I don't like what he stood for, what his ideology stands for today. For those that don't like it, drop dead. Call the fcc, call the aclu. I wish for the day we can send both of them and cair on a boat. You vermin scum don't tell us what we can and can't say. You bums come into our lands and dictate what we say ? NO. Go back to your 7th century lands. Go back to where you treat your women worse than a cat or a dog. I'm sick of this. We don't owe you a damn thing. You owe us. Yes I will text it. Take your "religion and shove it." Muslims humiliate themselves on a daily basis. Bus bombs, child bombs, human bombs, human shields.

What's wrong with saying Mohammed was a paedophile? If the cap fits, wear it.
What's this about being guilty of humiliating a religion? Would they have reacted similarly had she "humiliated" Voodoo? Why is it a crime to "humiliate" a religion? How does one "humiliate" a religion? By being critical of it? Is free speech to be denied? Persecution of the followers of a religion is not the same thing as "humiliating" a religion. Are all religions to be thus protected, or only Islam? Islam considers those who belong to other religions as infidels: isn't this an attempt at humiliation? Muslims kill those who convert from Islam. Humiliation? If so, why are Muslims allowed to get away with it? Call me a cynic, but I cannot shake off the suspicion that petroleum plays a part in all this.
