Just like my ex from Lebanon tells me, muslims stick together. It’s part of the cult of islam. Kind of like fight club. Only instead of just blowing themselves up, and not telling anyone about it, they like to do it in proximity to us. Then they get mad and cry foul when we bomb the crap out of them in retaliation.

Afghanistan: Islamic leader calls for attacks to back Gaza

Kabul, 20 Jan. (AKI) – A powerful Afghan warlord has urged his countrymen to launch attacks on US troops in Afghanistan in support of Palestinians affected by the recent military offensive in the Gaza Strip. Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, chief of the Islamic Hezb-e-Islami party, which opposes NATO-led troops in Afghanistan, urged Muslims to wage war against the United States because of its financial and military support for Israel.

“Afghans must attack American troops present in Afghanistan in support of the Palestinians in Gaza,” said Hekmatyar in a message in Pashto language, broadcast by Arab network al-Arabiya.

“We ask the Afghan mujahadeen to line up alongside their Palestinian brothers as a way of rallying opposition to the Americans who are allies of Israel. This war, which we are helping, is not just a war by Tel Aviv, but rather a new American war against Islam,” said Hekmatyar.

Hekmatyar is the chief of Hezb-e Islami, the fundamentalist Pashtun movement and twice served as Afghanistan’s prime minister in the mid 1990′s.

The Islamic organisation is well-known for fighting the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan.

A fragile ceasefire remained in place on Tuesday as Israeli troops withdrew from the Gaza Strip after a three week military offensive in which at least 1,300 Palestinians were killed in Israel’s assault. Thirteen Israelis died, including 10 soldiers.

In his audio message, Hekmatyar asked all Arab countries to support the Palestinians and open the borders, in order to allow thousands of mujahadeen to fight beside the Palestinians.

Hekmatyar is currently wanted by the US for his alleged ties with Al-Qaeda and the Taliban. He has been blacklisted by the US department of state as a ‘specially designated global terrorist’ and there is a bounty for his capture or death.

Meanwhile, on Monday, at least 22 Taliban militants including two commanders were killed during US-led raids in southern and eastern Afghanistan.

The US military said the raids targeted a Taliban network in Kapisa, located 50 kilometres north of the capital Kabul. Eight suspected militants were arrested during the raids.
